Thankfully, Cloud Gaming fans still have the likes of GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming and Luna
Where do cloud gaming fans who don't like subscriptions go?
Would they have gone to Stadia in the first place?
Yes, on Stadia you could just buy a game and play it without limits, no need for any subscription.

I am silently hoping Ubi will pick it up as a white label, and even more that Valve will build something similar (Neon Prime?).

I really don't like the idea of publishing a remake where the original authors don't get a cut.

You can export game saves, I don't know if they are compatible with PC builds of a game though.
Yeah, Rockstar has already announced it will be possible to transfer the progress in Red Dead Online to another platform, but I don't know if it also applies to story mode, we'll see. Maybe I will manage to 100% it before stadia shuts down and won't have to rebuy it on steam. I don't particularly care about the multiplayer part or finding all collectibles etc.

No, more likely just diving goggles. Look at the wetsuits hanging behind it. He is on a yacht.
Chillin' with the Deck on deck.

I'm pretty certain Sony will make sure all their remakes work well on SD. Even if they don't have this written down in their deal with Valve, they must be aware that a big chunk of SD users came from the PSP/Vita crowd.

Quoting: syylkIn a way, it's also the fault of rich countries spoiled brats using VPNs to fake buying from overinflated ones, so to have a colossal, undeserved, screw-you-all discount on something that's absolutely, positively leisure-only.

Gaming is great, but it's not a god-granted human right. Enjoy as much as you can, but if/when you cannot, ffs don't mess with other people (be it devs or people in countries with less robust economies)!
Imagine fucking over a whole country or two just because you wanted to feel better about yourself (rather than just pirating the damn game).

Quoting: SupaySome years back I was looking to buy some very expensive telescope eyepieces. Found a factory in China where a contract had been signed with them by the US designer but they had then pulled out due to some anti-Chinese manufacturing campaign at the time, decided to make them in the US instead with an even higher retail price than before. So the factory in China, having been sent all the designs already, just began producing them anyway and selling them for a tiny fraction of the cost of the US made ones. I picked them up and they were superb, could not see any signs of cut corners that affected their performance. Slightly different circumstances as it was the designer who breached the contract, but paid off for me.
Exactly the same happened with some very expensive woodwork machinery made by one of the companies I know. They outsourced the production to China, after some time pulled out, but the Chinese factory kept producing it and selling off-brand, and much cheaper. IP laws just don't exist there, any product design outsourced for production to China is as good as given away.

At this point, why even do regional pricing if everyone is expected to pay American prices?
