For those for whom this is useful information, some of these titles have already been through the Deck verification testing process. Celeste, Cloudpunk, and Scarlet Nexus all got the Verified status. Gears 5 got Unsupported.

Quoting: sarmadDid they mention if all those components are open source?I don't know about these bits in particular, but Collabora's expertise and policy is open source first.
We believe that developing the vast majority of software publicly in a collaborative fashion must become the standard. Of course there will always be room for differentiated value; we don't suggest that every line of code must be made public (although that would be nice). Assisting customers maximize their use and contributions to Open Source is our raison d'être.https://www.collabora.com/about-us/open-source.html [External Link]

Quoting: AussieEeveeI can fully understand not wanting to spend the time and resources to make a native port. They already spent those resources. The Stadia version uses Vulkan and runs on Linux.

is it something you will notice while you're scrolling the camera around?Possibly more so as you're scrolling around. Without AF, textures at an angle (which is most of them, because perspective) tend to shimmer as the camera moves.

Quoting: officerniceIsn't there a way to navigate to that page within Steam itself? I cannot seem to find it under the dedicated Steam Deck page (Categories >> Steam Deck)Store -> News -> find the post about it.

Quoting: EikeYou can still buy them. Everything's still there, except for the little box that says Linux is supported. And Feral's payment for a "Linux sale" - it's still a Linux sale on the stats, it's just that Feral no longer get paid for it.Quoting: TheRiddickGiven that feral games get removed off steam once license expires... I wouldn't be buying from them anyway. They're not removed. You can still download them, you just can't buy them anymore. So it makes full sense to buy them before. I got some games that got "removed", and... why should I care?!?

Quoting: Guestyeah I understand, like any other device, installing a different OS doesn't void your warranty (didn't know that tho) but I'm still curious at what will be the official response from Valve? for example is there an official web page from valve to download drivers for the Steam Deck? or will they provide a bios update utility that runs on Windows? it's still a mystery of what the "official" approach will be, if they are too "friendly" with Windows then they might shot their own foot.During the first non-IGN hands-on session they said that they'd tested Windows on it, and didn't need to install anything special. That's what they'll be aiming for for customers, too - if there's a driver for something that's needed they'll just bung it at Microsoft to include with their install images or other Windows driver mechanism. I don't expect them to have anything Windows-related on the Steam Deck site.
