I'm just happy they have decided to go for a total of three triggers/shoulder buttons on each side. Many types of games need those buttons.

Already got it for Windows, and this is a real beauty of a game, with a whopping 89% metascore folks. Luckily I'm only a couple of hours into it, so now I'll finish it on Linux. Sweetolini.
If it is a "real" port (and not Wine-wrapped) I'll purchase it again and give it to a (Linux) friend to support the work.

We really, really do not need more smartphone games ported. Really. Was there an option in Steam to filter out the mobile ports, I'd turn it on with a sigh in relief and never look back.
No offense to the mobile games itself or their devs, they can be sweet little things and I do game some on my mobile. But really, they belong to the little devices.

The range I know nothing about, I use that usb extension cable it came with so the receiver usb dongle is right beneath the screen, straight visual line to the controller. At least under those circumstances there's no issues whatsoever, within the few meters I've used it.
I can't get it to work in Windows though. I find no driver download anywhere, and Windows just don't recognize it. But that's irrelevant now, since I no longer use Windows.

Quoting: CybaCowboyI used to use this, but got sick of fighting to get it working under Ubuntu or Microsoft Windows (which I still used at the time)... The range (from the USB receiver) was garbage, and this controller went through batteries like it was going out of fashion.Really? Seriously, I've changed batteries in it *once* since I purchased it, years ago. Dead serious. I've been astonished about the low battery consumption. Granted, there's been periods where I've not used the controller at all, but still. One battery replacement in 3 years or so.

Regarding the unique question this time: I'm kinda stuck between the second and third alternative: I think there will be a significant increase in the amount of Linux versions, but I don't think we will get a lot of new Linux users this year unless some very favourable Steamboxes are starting to roll out.
Quoting: XeekeiI think you mean it says "D". I have an F510. "D" stands for DirectInput; the API used before Microsoft released XInput for XBox 360.Ah - that sounds extremely plausible. Thanks! :)

To be honest, I have a hard time imagining this to be exciting for more than a couple of hours before one starts to get tired of the very monotone view.

The first Dungeon Defenders were quite good and landed on a metascore of a very decent 83%, so I fully expect the sequel to be well worth a consideration.

I am just so totally going to purchase a Roccat keyboard next.
Unfortunately I was not aware of Roccats Linux driver support when I bought my current keyboard, a Logitech G710+ and to be honest I think it will take some time for me to wear out that one cause it's a robust monster too, but then... Then it's Roccat for SURE.
