Verdun, the WWI FPS has a free expansion release, game is now broken on Linux (now fixed)

It's the new version of unity causing this for every unity game that moves to it. Thats also why 7 days to die is broken. Although it sucks it's broken atm. It's Unity's fault, not the game devs. As soon as Unity guys fix it, we can play again.
I know the game devs could just of halted releasing/updating their game until it's fixed, but that would not be the best move either.

I think it is a great game. For people who like this style of game, this maybe an overlooked gem. I actually helped beta test the linux version, and can happily say it's a very well done port. I am sad he didn't see profitable results from us. Can't wait to see what he makes next.

Actually GLFW sux as hard as GFWL. Seen quite a few games suffer problems from using that instead of SDL2.

They should of waited until it was working for mac/linux.
The game requires you to log in and take care of your dinos everyday. If not they literally starve to death. And some dino's take 10hours or more to tame, and for that 10 hours someone must be logged in constantly with it to feed it and look after it. Some people have literally 1000's of hours invested and everything they got could be dead/gone after a few days of not being able to log in. Even more so if they are on a pvp server. I really feel for the affected people. You really get attached to some of ya dinos and feel a real sense of loss when 1 dies.
If they really couldn't wait they should of warned users before hand so they could organize someone else to care for their dinos and bases. Or make some other arrangements.
Lucky I play on a private server that we don't enable BE on.

Shame it's made on unity. It's going to have very very poor performance. You can even see it runs like crap in the video's. I know it's not finished yet, but it will still run like rubbish even when it's finished.

Shouldn't have put it on steam at all since Alienware do a console running windows too. So they violated that already.
What a joke, will be avoiding ever buying anything made by these guys.
