Maybe it should have both (like some headphones): A cable, but detachable.
A cable for the nostalgia... and then wireless for actually using it on the couch.

Quoting: GuestI wonder how many "Linux Deck" users would use Linux outside of the Deck.
Exactly that's the point they aren't locked to steam os they could install windows but it's not designed to support the hardware. It's now different to Xbox or ps having their proprietary os it's just more capable than standard console os
The important thing about it is that most Steam Deck owners know that it runs Linux, and they see that it works well (arguably better than Windows on some other gaming handheld PC).

Steam Deck puts Linux on the gaming table.

Quoting: hardpenguinSome buzzkills on Reddit have mentioned that the reason is Mac gamers using Apple Game Porting Toolkit which uses the Windows version of the Steam client.

Somehow I don't think so, since even years back Steam was detecting Wine environment...
Even if it's true, it would have resulted in a decline of MacOS - which we don't see.

Quoting: dpanterWell, historically speaking every substantial deviation from the trend stemmed from flawed data and was typically corrected before long... but I'll take it. :)
It does look as plausible as the March numbers, yes.

But the trend is still going in the right direction.

Phoronix observed that Chinese language has dropped by 3 or 4 percent last month...
This won't make Linux jump up 25%.
(See the MacOs numbers, that went up a mere 2.7% (= 0.05 / 1,79).)

Quoting: Eike*edit* Tried to start it, but the Linux version tries to run an exe. I'll tell them.
They fixed it!

If you're into the genre, do give the demo a try. I was sold already by the old one.

Quoting: hardpenguinOh the watermark was removed? That's great. Cheers and keep up the good job! 💪
Thank you! As far as I'm aware, we've never had in-game watermarks. Just the splash screen at the beginning.
The bug message about all this shows an option about a watermark:

Quoting: PhlebiacHmm... pretty sure I played this demo a few years ago. I guess they have been on hiatus?
I played their old demo, too, and the most important thing to me is that they're still working on the game. But I asked them on the Steam forums and they said this would be a new demo, or an improved one at least. I don't know if I'm gonna check it, they got me with the first one alright.

*edit* Tried to start it, but the Linux version tries to run an exe. I'll tell them.

Quoting: EgonautI don't know where that 75GB come from, it only consumes 39GB here.
Fantastic to hear! I wonder why the Steam page lists it as 75GB?
Maybe one is the amount to download, and the other the space actually needed on disc after decompression?
