The Linux market share still appears to be rising

Most people that I know that fit into the mold you describe above don't have any interest in Linux. They just want the most software available to them.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyYeah I don't fit into that either. I've been using it since the mandrake days in '94. I've used it this long because I like how open it is. My parents are not very technical and have used it for 15 years without a single issue.Quoting: iiariSo I believe the Linux desktop future is gunning for the makers, enthusiasts, gamers, and tinkerers who like to explore who have always been fueling Linux. I'm still surprised how many people who fit that description haven't tried Linux yet, and of those I've seen who switch to Linux and keep it long term tend to be from that group.Just for the record, I would like to note that I am a counterexample. I'm an artsie and at most a casual gamer, and to the extent I am a gamer it's mostly strategy, no twitch. I'm neither a tinkerer nor a maker; I love that stuff in theory but never seem to get around to it in practice. And yet I've been on Linux most of the time since early Mandrake days.
I also don't see that there's a massive overlap between gamers and those other categories you list.

Quoting: Liam DaweLooks like there isn't a version for everyone. Here is the North American version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0Fr3cS3MtY [External Link]Quoting: KohlyKohlThe trailer in the article is region locked and doesn't work in the US.Oh sorry, seems I grabbed it from the UK YouTube, have switched it for their generic named channel which I assume doesn't have such issues.

Tried to play Destiny 2 and I couldn't even get past the start screen. Kept telling me about cross saves and wouldn't do anything after that...
Never mind, I needed to hold down the button. Not very intuitive.

I haven't played this in forever.
I'm disappointed by all that I missed out on with so many nickle-and-dime DLCs.
I feel most of this content should have been in the game to begin with.

You can still win even if you don't get 2 stars in the first two rounds. Usually when that happens, I pick something else until I find something that comes up with a 2-star. Then I take those alliances and try to find more 2-stars off of that.
Being random, you just have to concede that you won't always get what you want and try to go with what the randomness is giving you.

Quoting: GuestIt was a bigger update than I was expecting and I like what I see (esp. rotating out Scrappy; may you never return).Removing Scrappy is a big issue for me since they were my favorite.
I still wish Knockout was just slightly longer, another life or two to keep things going. I can't help feel that unless you get a steamrolling first hand/round, you might as well quit and join a new game most of the time since you are already behind. I don't think I've ever placed top 4 without getting at least 1-2 2 stars before the game began.
