Man alive, there are some phenomenal discounts in there. If only I had the discipline to wait until these sales. Sadly ... I DO NOT.

I'm eagerly awaiting the day the article is posted "Embracer group files for bankruptcy". Until then, seeing more studio free of their clutches is great news.

I guess the games won, and beat me into submission over the past few years though, since now I use crafting in all of them. I think I just realized it's just part of everything and might as well lean into it?

Quoting: ExpalphalogI've been bottling this up for years: I fucking hate crafting. I abhor every aspect of it and it annoys the hell out of me that every single game contains it now. Doesn't matter if it's an RPG, a shooter, or whatever. They are all crafting games now.I used to have the same exact sentiment. I can remember playing Dragons Age Inquisition and HATING the fact that the game so clearly wanted to go to the crafting area of the castle constantly to use up all the ingredients etc.. I just wanted to delete that entire part of the otherwise wonderful game.

I've never been concerned much about ram system usage, just as long as something doesn't go off the rails and start consuming all of it ... Like for instance right now I'm on Plamsa6 and I've got all my normal work-day apps open:
spotify
standard notes
signal
slack
firefox
librewolf
chromium
kate
steam (in background idling)
and I'm using 6 gigs of ram out of 32. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

well, it's out for Tumbleweed, but ... it did NOT go well for me. In the middle of a zypper dup it just crashes the entire DE to a login screen. every time. repeatedly. Even after reboot. Had to snapper back to an old snapshot to fix it. It left my system with half installed Plasma 5.x and half 6.0.
edit:
I got it to work! Currently running plasma6
I received some awesome support from the official forums, and they suggested I dump the DE and go down into system terminal by hitting ctrl-alt-f4 and doing the zypper dup there. It worked. Love that community!

LOVING this game so much on the Deck. Can't recommend it enough. I don't think I've played this much on the deck since Dredge.

So close! Very much looking forward to this. Loved the first one, and it was absolutely gorgeous to play, so this should be even better. Looks like I'll be able to do "high" settings with good framerates, which is fine by me.
