Oh god, this one strikes too close to home - as anyone with experience of putting together flat-packed Ikea gubbins with dubious "assistance" from relatives will surely be able to attest to.
Seriously, though, what a great idea for a game! It looks hilarious!

I'll definitely be picking this up - it's just that I've got another game that's my priority first. After that, though!

These look fab! Though it's not a mod I see myself doing, I know the difference that coloured buttons can make to a customised revamp of a machine - I once reshelled a Game Boy Colour as a gift for a relative (the casing wasn't in great shape, but the board was fine) and did a Darth Vader theme, which I couldn't've done without the availability of aftermarket coloured buttons. So, I'm looking forward to seeing what people do with these.

Good news! I've been waiting for this to happen.
Still, I've got Doom II, Doom 64, and Doom 2016 to get through first, and those're going to take me a while - because of how badly I get motion-sickness from first-person games, I have to play a little at a time, exclusively on handheld devices. By then I'd imagine that the price will have dropped, too!

Quoting: PublicNuisanceA good first step but to get me interested in even a discount purchase they also have to banish the need for a Bethesda.net account.Oh, is that actually required for this game? At least in the Unity engine ports of Doom and Doom II, you can cancel out of the prompt and it'll never pester you about it again.

Nice to see a mention of Perixx here - they make nice stuff for very good prices. They also happen to be one of the only manufacturers I've found that makes a compact keyboard with a built-in trackball - I keep one of those around as a spare (and will surely be using it with my future Steam Deck, too), as it's really nice for a membrane keyboard, and I generally prefer a trackball to a trackpad in a device like that.

Quoting: 14My kids and I still haven't finished the base game. We can't be far though. I'll probably get the DLC after we do finish the main game.I'm in the same situation - I'm only on my second playthrough (first was with Donatello, second with Splinter - wanted to start with my two favourite characters), and have a lot left to do! I'll definitely be grabbing the DLC when I'm done with everything in the main game. The free colour-palette update looks great, at least - some good options there, and it finally fixed the ugly scaling on portable displays when you're not using any of the graphical filters, too, which was a nice bonus.

Quoting: 14My glory days of Fire Emblem appear to be wearing out as I get older. Sad.There are ROM-hacks that make new games out of the older ones in this series, at least - that might be worth a look.

I found this very entertaining to watch when it appeared in the GOL "5 years of Proton" stream on YouTube; That moment of utter surprise the moment that bomb fell out of the sky and landed just inches from your tank, then exploded before you could've ever gotten away from it, was just epic - and hilarious. I'm going to have to try it out soon, methinks.
