Also worth pointing out in the whole DMCA conversation that Sonic Robo Blast 2 itself has been ongoing since 1998, and as far as I'm aware they haven't had legal trouble. I'm absolutely certain that Ring Racers will be fine.

I'm aware the issues are going to be resolved very soon, but an NVIDIA card on a Fedora edition laptop, a distro that leaned hard into Wayland, is... questionable.
It'll cease to be an issue very soon, but still. Weird.

Definitely happy to see VR stuff being worked on, I've kinda just given up on VR until I can buy an Index (my headset was a Windows MR headset, which has awful software, awful controllers and no Linux support), but at the same time I'm hoping at least one headset with inside-out tracking will work someday.
...and I hope we see something come from Deckard. Still patiently waiting for that.

Really hope it is a sign of NVIDIA opening up more.
As much as I've expressed that the card I have in my system at the moment is very likely the last time I ever put an NVIDIA card in my system, it would be really nice to see NVIDIA pivot and embrace open-source drivers, as they're unfortunately still where most people look for GPUs. Even with the 40 series, somehow.

Oh, that's neat. My GMMK 1 plays nice with OpenRGB, I'd like to see if it works with this too.

Seeing it not only remain at 4% but even climb a little is really nice. Hoping to see it go up even further.
Maybe we'll see 5% before Microsoft drops Windows 10, and then see it surge up after they drop it.

"Kernel Level" anti-tamper is snake oil. This nonsense was tried before, Modern Vintage Gamer's video retrospective on Starforce DRM [External Link] does a good job documenting what happened. Modern gaming is so chock-full of "Starforce, but even worse" and I'm hoping one of these days, rootkit snake oil gets the same blowback Starforce and SecuROM did.
If an "anti-cheat" won't work because the operating system is too secure to fall for malware tricks, it sucks.
