Ubisoft fixed The Division 2 on Steam Deck and Linux desktop

I can't get the game to run :(
Installed the game (Ubisoft Connect), installed the EAC runtime.
Put the EAC files in the Division 2 / EAC folder.
Set proton experimental (newest proton GE gives unrecoverable error, just like in the latest news mentioned)
And finally added the command line.
Ubisoft connect launches, I start the game.. it tell's me synching save games from cloud
and then - I guess - EAC is trying to start.. blue hexagon or something, and it stops, and again and again and again..
After some time the hexagon disappears on every try, only a little blue progress bar is visible and it starts all over again.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

sign me up to the lazy folks.
I’m a ‘classic’ subscriber since.. can’t remember.
Is there still an advantage for classic?!
There a times when I don’t even redeem my monthly games and all of a sudden I’m checking three month back for what I already have.
But I don’t want to cancel. There’s always a hidden gem in that pile of digital shame that is worth playing and most of the time it is a title I would not have bought as a single title purchase.

I can‘t get the EA App to install on Bottles (default config, Soda).
Watched the video on Bottles and that worked fine but in my case, the EA Client installer always failes with a red exclamation mark „send logs„ option available, but that is only for EA. No files added in the bottles folder/path.
Any ideas, suggestions? ;)

Forza Horizon 4, the only racing game I play on Steam Deck atm.
At first start (and only once) you have to connect/sign in to Xbox Live; no big issue doing it the easy way in desktop mode with a keyboard.
After that there’s only occasional issues with game freezes. Have not found a pattern for that. luckily progress is being saved automatically quiet often.
A fix would be nice but I don't think it’ll happen any time soon if at all.. Anyway, I enjoy my time on the ‘mobile’ Horizon festival.

What about the updates in discover in Steam Deck? KDE updates (and others) are popping up.
Can I just simply update the individual parts of the OS? Or will they be handled by the SteamOS updates through gaming mode?

Diablo Immortal works on Steam Deck, plus a fix for Battle.net being slow

The only game not working on Battle.net is, unfortunately, Hearthstone which crashes during the intro. Have not found a way to disable or bypass the intro :-(

Quoting: c2d2Hi,Yeah, I prefer the 1st party solution as well.
you do not need Lutris for the Battle.net-CLient.
1. Just download the "Diablo-Immortal-Setup.exe" from the Diablo-Immortal Web-Site
2. move it somewere else than your download folder
3. add it as non-Steam game to your library.
4. Then use Proton-7.0.2 to play and you are done ;-)

can someone please explain the hype about these launchers?
I mean, what is the advantage of using third party apps instead of just installing the native apps in steam?!
just for convenience?
As far as my experience on the Steam Deck goes Origin, Ubisoft, Battle.net, Epic Games Store all work fine with separate install.
