Valve answer questions about the Steam Deck in a new FAQ, anti-cheat for all Linux systems

Quoting: HoriI didn't expect case-folding, but whatever. As long as it plays games and it does it well, why should I care?

Also... can't wait for SteamOS be available to the public. I want to dual-boot it, even though I already run Arch Linux as my main. I want it separate so that I can use it like a console PC (Steam Machine?) from my couch without the need for any keyboard or mouse (the Steam Controller can already navigate the GRUB menu fully, so that's not an issue), and also without the need to maintain the system and fixing game compatibility issues myself.

Although I can already do something similar-ish with my main OS and Steam's BPM and some scripts, it's far from ideal, and I really don't want it to interfere with the rest of my OS.
Aaaand, the SteamOS 3 UI looks preety damn cool!

Why not use ChimeraOS (formerly GamerOS) now? I've been using it for a couple years after rebuilding my formerly SteamOS box. It works great...

According to the negative reviews on Steam, this is standard procedure - to bring out new premium machines that people will spend pretty good money on, then 'nerf them' a few weeks later, to do it all over again... I don't know how accurate those are, but it tells me I need to stay away from it. I don't have time or money to get involved in that kind of 'game'..

Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääThank you, Mr. Jarkko Oikarinen, the father of IRC, for this marvel that carries even today!

IRC will always have a special place in my heart... I met my wife over IRC (Undernet) back in the late 90's.. So, I also thank Mr. Oikarinen..

Nadir is an upcoming roguelike deckbuilder with 'artwork burning of infernal fire'

It's hard to take this seriously when the narrator misprounces the title of "Nadir" muliple times... :( (I mean its their game, so they can pronounce the mythical city in it how they'd like, but its obviously based on our word nadir, so it would be much less jarring if the narrator would just use a common pronunciation)

I wonder if it could help an intermediate player improve their game, just from pattern recognition of the best moves...
