The internet has ruined me... "Horse Fest" made my mind go to straight to furries (which is fine, no kink shaming), but then it also made me think of the probable NSFW nightmare fuel games that are also on Steam too. Though I'm sure that people will like saving money on Barbie's Horse Adventure or whatever. lol
While "Ocean Fest" sounds like a crappy Red Lobster promo, but I'm sure that some of the furry games will be on sale then as well. XD

Valve tweak Steam Community Awards to deal with point farming and "attention-grabbing content"

With how expensive the Points Shop items are and with Valve being stingy whores with the whole no more free event items. I honestly don't feel bad that people were point farming or doing whatever for clown awards. I also feel that the bitching about the clown awards and the behavior for them was overblown by some people. Who cares? It's not like most of the reviews are good anyways. Steam is a cesspool just like everywhere else.
I feel like Valve making Points Shop items more expensive (at least it seems that way) and them not giving away the free event items anymore is both in poor taste and them not reading the room. The Points Shop items practically cost them nothing and with most people struggling with everything, they should've went against that trend and at the very least kept the free event items. It's just another reason to be critical of Valve to me. I used to not dislike them as much as other gaming companies. Now? Fuck them and Gaben.

I like DS9 for the most part. Sisko is a badass, even if I completely disagree with some of his actions against the Maquis and Michael Eddington. How he gets the Romulans to enter the Dominion War is next level.
Voyager is good, but has its meh moments. I feel like we could've had a few more episodes in season 7 too.
Even TNG has its meh moments and Miles O'Brien should've been in First Contact with Worf. They had Reginald Barclay. So not also having O'Brien was lame.
Enterprise could've been better, but it's fine. The whole Xindi thing was kinda stupid though. lol
While TOS is pretty hokey, it's good for the most part.
I haven't watched Picard yet and I don't know when I'll get to it. Star Trek has been a shell of its former self for a while. Paramount pissed me off with the product placement in the reboot movie and them also going against Roddenberry's vision too much with stuff as well. Section 31 was probably a necessary evil from DS9 onward, but they've really done a number on Star Trek since the reboot movies. That's not including CBS/Paramount sucking the Orange Moron off either.

My beard is like how Comandante's was. My old Latino co-workers back in the day would joke about it when it gets long like it's gotten again.
I usually intend on shaving and do a few times, but then it gets too far gone and I just say fuck it and let it keep growing. lol

I haven't checked it in months, but the only reason that I've kept my Twitter account is cause parts of the world haven't switched over to Bluesky (yet). Lots of Japanese people and things are still on Twitter and so are a lotta people in the global south. Though Trump and Musk are trying to stamp out resistance in and by the global south. So that might not matter much longer. D:
Also, Mastodon sometimes makes me think of the "morphin' time" thing from Power Rangers. I suppose there's people that'd default to the metal band too. XD

The flash games that I remember playing the most back in the day were probably Snowcraft and the Candystand stuff. The Candystand games were just advergames, but at least they were fun. If advergames are gonna exist at all, better that they be non-toxic like those vs bullshit like America's Army. lol
