Quoting: TheBossOh ok, I really thought it was a genuine feature and was really puzzled  . Monitor looks great though. Whenever my next graphics card upgrade comes, it will go along with a 4K. All depends on cashflow though obviously :(Quoting: Segata SanshiroSo what's the alarm actually for? I don't understand its purpose. Radiation coming from the screen or from a nuclear bomb?Something left in from their testing of the units speakers I imagine.

Graphically has a similar vibe to the Tales series. Will pick this up for sure, it's not like we're getting any of the big-name JRPG devs even knowing Linux exists any time soon.

Also, love watching videos of things being mass produced. So dystopian, so cool.

This looks almost identical to Populous - a game I very much enjoyed back in the day. Shame about the reviews, been itching to play a decent god game. Will have to wait for Banished if that ever comes (sigh).

Thanks :). Yeah as long as there's some kind of econo-political system and an overworld map. I don't like it when it's just battles. I'll probably pick up the Warhammer one then :) Appeals to me more.

How would you say the transition is from something like EU4 or Civ to the total war series? Looking to broaden my horizons :D
Also the Warhammer one could be interesting. Would enjoy a game like this as fantasy races.

Quoting: XaeroVincentClearly some games benefit from using Unity 5 over 4:Should have featured this in the article if I'd known about it. The difference in lighting is also great, far more realistic shadows in Unity 5.

Techland show how hilarious it is when a Linux port has no quality control with Dying Light (updated)

I'm surprised the port even works half the time, it feels like it's held together with sticky tape, same with Dead Island. I had the problem where I'd "open" the doors of certain cupboards, and only the handles would move instead of the doors. There was one hilarious moment where a cupboard was supposed to reveal a hiding person, and then spent 5 mins conversing with some oak-coloured MDF. Don't even get me started on Dead Island.
Enjoyed the game thoroughly though, despite it's graphical weirdness and uninspiring story. Let's just hope this enhanced edition and DLC don't make all the zombies black cubes or something :P.
EDIT: Also, the reason I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt is that they've been on the platform for about a year now and pretty sure Dying Light was the first AAA game to have day 1 support for Linux (correct me if I'm wrong). They may be pretty spazzy sometimes, but show good initiative. Giving everyone a big free upgrade next month is pretty damn cool too considering most games nowadays would sell you their own mother in DLC form if it meant an extra buck.
