Quoting: Stupendous Man28€ with the content pack included? Thanks but no thanks. And I thought the earlier DLCs were expensive (I never bought Common Sense).
Don't get me wrong, I like both EU4 and CK2 and don't mind buying DLCs with lots of content. However, in my opinion Paradox's DLCs have too little content and get released a little too often, at too high a price. All just IMHO, of course.
Who cares about the content pack though? I never pay any attention to what the units look like, honestly if you're playing this game a lot then you're never zooming in that far to even care about that stuff.

Either way though, I am going to wait for a sale on this one (for the first time). Mostly because I feel that this doesn't add as much as some of the others have, but also that i've bought everything EU4 related (except said content packs) day-1 and don't care to think how much money that's been :P

Lastly, I thought that I should mention that Paradox have collaborated with Swedish power metal band Sabaton to create a music pack for the game. I'm not too sure how well metal meshes with strategy but given that this is the third rock-based optional music pack they've put out, there must be a demand for it.
LOL. Scandinavians, eh.

Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuy$1200 for a console style computer is asinine. No one is going to pay that much for it no matter how good it is.
The US pricing is actually $900, converting it doesn't work because everything in the UK is WAAAAY more expensive when it comes to computers. I'd say $900 isn't too bad, but they would have been better off having an i3 instead of i5 and a smaller HDD to shave off a bit of money. Those two components are just overkill in this machine and with a 960, the i5 would add a couple of FPS over an i3 - which really isn't worth it.

This was the one I thought had the most sensible hardware... But yeah, at £800 its's not going to get people off their xbones.

Wine 1.8-rc2 released, brings more stability

Personally, I'm not interested in going anywhere near WINE again until DX11 support is included and functional enough to play something like Fallout 4. Though hopefully by the time that happens, there will be other AAA Linux games which I'd substitute anyway.

Quoting: Comandante oardoIs good to see another argentinian game here.
There's a bright future for the industry I think. Lots of talented people, lots of Linux-friendly people. I mean, look at GODOT. Some of the main barriers to the industry will most likely disappear over this next year as well, so we'll be seeing a lot more stuff from Argentina.

I'd love to see a game using the storytelling techniques of Borges or even some sort of political sim where you manage the country from 1920 onwards or something and make sure it doesn't turn out crap haha.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroIs there currently or are there plans to implement an econo-political system? That's just a must have for me and strategy games, not really the military type. Prefer wiping out my advisories with the pen instead of the sword. If they do, then I might actually finally download this after many years of seeing it out there.
Highly doubtful, as the game very much revolves around combat. Would be very weird in a game like this to have that.
Damn. Ah well. I'll still try it out when it's out of Alpha I think. I did enjoy Age of Empires back in the day, so who knows.

So all in all, it seems that Crimson is more bark than bite.
Seems like more of a whimper. I wonder when they'll get their act together.
