Really liking this so far, feels a lot more professional and polished than Pillars of Eternity.
EDIT: The only niggling thing so far is that the game suffers from a bit of aliasing which the AA doesn't fix. Would be nice if some additional AA options were added.

The Intel driver question has been covered a lot since its inception as well. I've always asked people to come forward and explain themselves but never got anything on here. The "don't knows" make perfect sense, but the proprietary answers are either Optimus users answering incorrectly or they are using some Intel propriatary blobs for CPU drivers (which do exist and are easily installable on recent *ubuntu distributions).

Quoting: XzylArch based is up to 30% - cinnamon desktop has dropped other than that I have to ask about question 11 with the "didn't buy any games" selection is that newer or are Linux users buying less games?Yes, from what we can deduce people are buying less games but more expensive ones. have a look at the previous couple of surveys for a bit more on that.
Is the Intel driver question a joke or are people clueless?

Either way, I don't want to get too hung up on the DE and Distribution questions - which for some reason people care the most about. It's a survey about games, not what people are running on their machines. Same reason I refused to split up the Debian-based distributions - that's what DistroWatch is for. Also the reason I've considered removing these questions in the past because they're the source of the most fanboyism and have the most potential stat manipulation through repeat responses.

Quoting: WorMzyThe DE question results took another turn for the worse. :PYeah I don't really understand what happened there since I deleted one or two of them a while back... It could be that Fedso added them back in because he thought they should belong there - I'll ask. Otherwise it might have been a C+P issue or something, I'll sort it out.
Openbox, i3 and i3wm should all be merged into none/custom.

Quoting: maodzedunNote the finished game will have a story mode, which will be a bonus to all like me who love survival but hate aimless berry picking.Agree 100%. I'm not really interested until it has a story mode, though it looks great so far.

I couldn't care less about minecraft and doubt I'll get this, but if this means we're getting more telltale games then that's super exciting! I was looking at The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max, etc checking for any news to see if they'd get ported and looks like this is the first sign.
Never got to play any of these since they were all on Windows (I think that Monkey Island game was on the Wii as well?) but always heard really good things and kept my eye on them. I'm pretty sure they all run on their in-house engine, so fingers crossed we get the other games.

Quoting: liamdaweYeah, figured as much. Publishers should really ensure that porters are getting paid for the work they've done... If that means calling up a few retailers and ensuring they count their sales properly then so be it. At the moment the situation to me seems like porting houses are essentially being cheated out of their revenue. It does seem like the kind of thing that will get sorted in due time though (hopefully).Quoting: Segata SanshiroThat's very interesting... I think if companies like Aspyr and Feral knew about this then they'd be tempted to have some strong words with these companies maybe because this would no doubt take a healthy chunk of their profits away. That, or they already know about it and are trying to sort it out.Feral already know about it, as they talked about it in our comments and on reddit. The problem is, they don't control what the publisher does before their ports exist of course, and probably still don't control all that much after release.
Bundlestars accounts for around 4% on the survey, but there's plenty of other ones on there which I'm not sure if they count as Linux sales or not, then there's the "other" category which I assume contains plenty of "key resale" websites.
