This looks like it has some good potential. Not too sure about the giant cats though.... Or the fact that they're called Neko-roos.

I'll keep my eye on it and pick it up if it looks like the story will be good.

Also, can the developer be legally called Midgar Studio? I always figured Square would copyright names like those.

Tested it out and I can actually pick up loot now (other than batteries and alcohol) and fix weapons past 99% to upgrade them. Shame I completed most of the game already... Good reason to finish the rest though I guess.

I wish this had split-screen local co-op, I would buy it for sure then.

Valve need to understand that if Steam Machines are going to compete with consoles then they need to incentivise developers to have actual multiplayer. At the moment it's just the Portal 2 missions, Left 4 Dead 2 if you tinker with it a bit and some indie games that aren't exactly going to pull people away from their Call Of Duty and FIFA.

Seems like the logical thing to do would be to wait until the last 48 hours and see if it's close to the stretch goal or has already made it. I've put a reminder on it and I'll decide whether to back or not then.

On a side note, every time I see quite big (in indie terms) projects like this on Kickstarter that aim to make a full multi-platform game for $700,000 (in this case) or whatever the amount is in other cases, it makes me wonder how Double Fine released half a (far more simple) game for $3,300,000.
