Personally I like what Nightdive has been doing.
The ease of use and features make it easier for casual players to junp in nd a good gateway to the Doom modding world.
Can't tell ya how many friends gave up setting up a source port to play online while I coached them through the process.
The kex engine port does what it needs to and then some, we alwaus have source ports for the crazy stuff.
Though I would like splitscreen four player on the spirce ports too but they arent made for that.
One gripe I have for this Doom remaster is how the mod list works.
Last version only had featured mods but had a nice list with icons.
This one is just a text list and its hard to find some of them that way when subscribing to a lot.
An icon grid and a last used sorting woild help a ton, hopefully they fix that up in a later update.
Though hey multiplayer with mods is a huge step up at least
Time for Batman Doom with friends with little fuss.

Same ol bundle but a good one.
Wish they'd sell the random DLC too.
On sale the cat armor is $1.11 for each individual peice.
Making it around five bucks on sale for just a silly cosmetic item.
Hopefully this gets more monster hunter players in om the older games while the bigger fans go for the new one.
Now if they coukd just make a good Monster Hunter Stories bundle so I can catch up on those.
Digimon too now I'm thinking about monsters.
Heck how bout a monster monster bundle with just monster games?

Valve now sell refurbished Steam Deck OLED models

Finally some kind of discount.
Only took a year for my pre-order deck to lower completely in value but OLED seemed like it was gonna stay full price for good.
I'd like the slight upgrade but it does feel like double dipping still.

Nice to see some new updates.
Anyone else find the airshipper launcher gui freak out a lot?
Works fine on steam in game mode heh.
Not so much windows or desktop mode.
Glad they managed to get through some bad situations, hoping to keep seeing the project grow.

Looking forward to seeing more of this.
I'd love to try modding in some new levels.
The idea of porting Starfox 1 into 64 just sounds nice to me if it's possible.

Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White and Steam Deck Australia have launched

A second chance woulda been nice.
I'd like to upgrade but not digging that color scheme enough to shell out again.
Really hoping they do a few more non-limited color ways without the FOMO and preferably a discount on fhe OLEDs in general as they discounted the LCD ones after only a year.

Quoting: CybolicIt looks great, but not quite as pretty as the semi-translucent black one that was exclusive to the USA. I do wish they had started out by offering that one worldwide first, but I guess that would technically be against the "limited edition" idea behind it.They could have made a variant of ths translucent one and I dont think anyone would mind especially for us first hour pre-order Deck owners who hadn't planned on buying anything that expensive again the year after and had to miss out.
I guess I'll wait for the inevitable translucent purple one

I think I'd rather have a grey one personally, maybe that SNES look a bit with the concave buttons on top.
Was waiting for a limited edition to come back but, was hoping to see the translucent one come back or a variant on it.
A lot of people wanted a white one though so should make em happy.
My first hour pre-order deck isn't holding up as well as I'd like and an OLED one is what I wanted in the first place.
Was just too soon for a limited edition one for me that year later.
Two years later it's a bit easier to accept and now they got the OLED kinks out of the way.
Hopefully the regular OLED might get a sale and I'll just get one of those and mod the shell.
That or maybe a chance to buy this one then resell it when its out of print to cut the price down for the "upgrade" and get a regular black one with the funds.

I own the originals on steam so I gotta rebuy these but still nice they are giving them some small updates.
Though those last two might need more than a remaster and if the originals are still available to buy I dont think anyone would mind a few fixes.
I dont like to double dip too often so I'll wait for a good sale, maybe a complete bundle.
Wonder if they'll keep going and remaster the others even if they might not need it too badly.
