Does anyone have any experience trying this thing out? How does it stack up against Game Maker by Yoyo and Unity?

I dunno if I have any more hours in my day to now sift through Itch.io catalog, unless anyone has a pro tip on how to quickly sift through to their good games?

Quoting: liamdaweIsn't it ironic that this seems to be both a pro and con to Linux? I spend so much time browsing github, AUR and other package repositories just to figure out what exists that I can use on Arch Linux.Quoting: AnxiousInfusionI want to like Itch in everything they do. Certainly a model for Steam and others to follow. But a quick glance at their catalog reveals it dominated by dating sims and romantic visual novels. Or am I just crazy? There is a lot of cruft on it due to the low barrier of entry, their sorting options generally help you find the good stuff though.

Without steam I'm easily complacent, steam makes installing easy & management easy.

I've almost bought various Worms games like 5 times now. Maybe I'll just hold out and hope this one is the best.
The graphics look fun and nice, I hope it has full controller support, cross platform multiplayer and local multiplayer and its a win.

Create a compact, powerful enough gaming machine, and if it runs the SteamOS variants of these games well I'll get it.
Even the Corsair 380t is huge considering it's Mini ITX.
Lately I have a obsession with compact, portable and simple - hauling around full towers is a chore I'm done with - it makes lanning a chore.
So in essence - Convenience vs Cost. I've built probably 15 rigs so far and getting that sweet compact form is so hard.
Hopefully the next version of AMD APU Zen will rock this world, it would be ideal for a Mini ITX build.
If only the LAIN LI Mini ITX wasn't so ugly and it fit a fullsize gpu, but oh well.

Black Mesa developer shoots down anti-Linux troll, confirms Linux version is in progress

I would have ignored Meraco if he had made one anti-linux comment out of arrogance on that thread.
However, when a kid pisses on Linux parading around drawing the attention of onlookers I ain't tolerate that shit one bit.
Ignoring this youngling's retorts could have lead the developer and watchers to agreeing with their sentiments as being the "strongest" simply because no one has challenged their statements.
This youngling wanted only to fight and get a laugh while spreading misinformation and blatant lies,
what he helped do instead was create contrast why Linux is the future and how it's so awesome.
Thank you Marco.
Lets all see trolling as an opportunity to enlighten watchers about how Linux is the future.
