Black Mesa developer shoots down anti-Linux troll, confirms Linux version is in progress
8 Jul 2016 at 6:19 pm UTC

I would have ignored Meraco if he had made one anti-linux comment out of arrogance on that thread.

However, when a kid pisses on Linux parading around drawing the attention of onlookers I ain't tolerate that shit one bit.

Ignoring this youngling's retorts could have lead the developer and watchers to agreeing with their sentiments as being the "strongest" simply because no one has challenged their statements.

This youngling wanted only to fight and get a laugh while spreading misinformation and blatant lies,
what he helped do instead was create contrast why Linux is the future and how it's so awesome.

Thank you Marco.

Lets all see trolling as an opportunity to enlighten watchers about how Linux is the future.

Vanguard Princess, a 2D fighting game that features an all-female cast is coming to Linux

I prefer to only play more "progressive" games.

So typical that there would be a all female game, when will people remember men's rights and produce a all men arcade fighter /sigh

Quoting: Mountain ManI played Dota 2 once and made the mistake of mentioning that I was a new player. This is apparently an unforgivable sin in the sight of some.
Being new eh. Now being a teenager or from league of legends, watch the avalanche cometh over you.

New players should play Riki, Sniper, Viper, Luna or other EZ heros.

Nightdive Studios aren't sure when the Linux version of the System Shock remake will be available

Quoting: PlintslchoFor some reason, System Shock has never appealed to me. While I do find the story interesting I was never interested in the game (I watched a friend of mine playing it back in the day). Maybe I found the controls awkward already back in 1994.

Anyway, I might have given an updated and modernized version of the game a try (albeit I do find the graphics of the remake a little too colourful for my taste). But without a confirmed Linux version I’m not interested.

I might check again after the game has been released- if it is released for Linux as well, that is.
The controls were bad, you have to remap them first thing to feel more like Half Life to make them sane.

I would love for someone to make a version where the three were one where there was a heart with a penguin inside it holding a steam controller.

For anyone wanting to download my entry here's the link again - it's 4k:

A Square Enix game on Linux? Interesting. If they port FF7, 8, 9 and 10 I'll buy all of them.

Pro Pinball Ultra now available on SteamOS & Linux

Pinball with steam controller feels great. Picked up Hyperspace Pinball a few days ago, I do like how this one looks though since its easier to follow with all the color.
