It's interesting to see Colossal Cave Adventure added. Doubt I will move away from using the original engine much though (Well I've actually got both the BSD version and the C port done by Crowfer and Woods installed locally) but this should make it easier to play outside of Linux finally.

Quoting: scaineI've enjoyed quite a few hours in Delver. Between it and Barony, all my retro-graphics RPG requirements are met!Barony is also open source! Which is actually part of why I picked these two up I feel a compulsion to pick up basically any game that catches my eye and is open source. I say it's a good habit to have as it will hopefully make people realize it's not near the risk to sales as some think it is.
The Barony crowdfunding was a success, incoming big updates for everyone

Yay another DLC I will inevitably end up buying for some reason even though I'm still working my way through the content of the other DLC. I for one am looking forward to the better controller support though as it's always felt a bit half baked.

Oh nice no lag between the Steam update and the Itch version as the Itch version all ready has a patch out. Pleasantly surprised by this as it's not uncommon for Itch versions of some games to not get update patches for a while after the update ships on Steam.

Quoting: Mountain ManA "free" "expansion". For a game that is still in "early access" beta. That's Liam getting a bit over editorial with the article title as it's part of the planned release schedule and now where in the official news post on Steam or website is it referred to as a free expansion. Just as an FYI

Bought Barony a few years ago and have definitely got my money out of it. But I'm all for more free updates plus the DLC at least what I've played so far has been good.

Quoting: NezchanI've had my eye on this for quite a while now, but like a lot of things I'm waiting for it to finally come out of beta to actually play it. Looks like there's still a ways to go, but the development so far is really promising. To be frank you might be waiting a while longer as it's a side project for those working on it still last I heard. But as it stands when I bought it a few years ago I have all ready got my moneys worth out of the game. Plus it seems they are not pulling a Starbound on those of us that have bought it :) Yes I'm still salty over how Stabound turned out, nearly burned me permanently on early access stuff
Linux distro Fedora 33 may get DXVK as the default for Wine

Quoting: tuubiSay I use their Debian Repo as even on Sid the Debian version has a bad habit of ending up out of step with upstream and I like to run the newest version of Wine at basically all times. Only time I consider switching back to an older version is when there has been a major regression and even then if none of my stuff is hit I just use latest.Quoting: Alm888I am forced to use self-compiled vanilla WINE (because Fedora does not provide me that option). So, addition of DXVK as a base Fedora package only complicates things more for me.In case you're interested, WineHQ provides an official repository [External Link] for Fedora builds.

Aaand the Itch client downloaded the Windows version  Was Pebcak but still I've noticed some times the Itch client has issues figuring out what is actually the Linux version
Edit 2: nope not a case of pebcak it's downloading the Windows Zip file because it doesn't know how to handle app image files
