Valheim 1.0 arrives in September with the Deep North biome

Quoting: NezchanI'll probably never be good enough to see most of the biomes, if we're being honest, but real cool they're finally completing all the lands.
Been there, but you can do a lot about it! I really suck at Soulskike games, but in valheim you first and foremost have to find your own rythm. Most of the time the answer is good preparation and not to panic. In combat, i tended to run far too much, which drained stamina and kept me dying. Another thing to do if you struggle: drop down the death penalty to casual or so. The skill drain is too exhausting for many people before they managed to make good use of the no-skill-drain timer, and even then it is helpful. As for the ashlands... yeah, PTSD-Country.
Best advice though: go in with one to three friends. Its so much more fun to struggle, and helping comrades to get their gear back has led to the most hilarious scenes in my entire gaming life.
I hope to get my gang back for the 1.0.

Finally! I really love this game. This is the first good news today for me. Finally i can get to the real world again and escape this mad dimension they call "reality".

I still can playback those Amiga mod tracks from Defender in my head, and i remenmber to win the game with Wolfric the Wild by jousting only. Good times!

Enter the Chronosphere is a ridiculously stylish and engaging turn-based bullet hell

I really have to be careful with these "light" titles. Brotato still has me locked in after 150 hours, and there is another dlc lingering in the back. And yes, turn based was the key word for me here also.

DO NOT GOOGLE IT. Please. I did, and... believe them. Kinda like the german "Schnappi, das kleine Krokodil". *shudder*

Speaking of the controller: is it normal to take that long to ship? My delivery process of the Steam Controller is still stuck at "packaged"...

Steam Controller more popular than Valve expected - they're working on stock issues

I dont get why the scalpers are such a big factor at all. No one has gotten just one controller yet, and still their scheme seems to find customers. We know that there will be enough controllers for everyone, so in my book, anyone who pays the scalp-extra can´t be helped. I want so many things very bad, but the anticipation for things is a nice thing, right? It just sucks if you don´t know if you get a chance to get a toy.

Thank you for that very cool review! I got lucky yesterday, even if it took 20 uneasy minutes to get over the order screen. Hope for everyone that they stock up very soon!

Thank you everybody for the great input! I'll give it a closer look then, especially for the kids laptops and see how it goes. My Main has an NVIDIA Card, so this (together with my addiction of the AUR) might be keeping me on Endeavour.
Isn't that a great time to live in - so many excellent choices for your digital life!
