Epic working on a streaming service for mobiles? OpenGL/ES... This is quite weird. Is the Android version of Fortnite built with OpenGL?

I'm still wondering what TTimo was referring to, in his last comment on SteamOS forum, when they released the 2.195 update:
"I hope we can share some news about SteamOS's future soon."

Quoting: Liam DaweWe began to lose a lot already when it became clear SteamOS/Steam Machines went nowhere. Remember our interview with Aspyr and Feral, both said they got involved due to it. We're still seeing the tail end of it.Totally!
No matter what though, thanks to the help on Steam Play we can still game on Linux more than ever before.

Online games have always been Linux's weak spot. It's seems that maintaining a build for Windows and Linux, when you constantly update the game is hardly justifiable when you fail to attract enough players (all platforms accounted).
Quite sure that they would have dropped Linux support even if Proton wasn't a thing. They just might have waited a little longer...
It's just sad that an early Steam-Linux adopter like UW is giving up on us...

"GOG were so impressed, they decided they wanted it on their store."
When I read about games that seems to generate hype, like this one, I'm always affraid that Epic might join the fray with an exclusivity deal. Did they mention anything about this?
In case like this, maybe GOG and Valve should join forces and think of something to secure their releases? Not as "store exclusive" but as "no exclusivity deal will prevent us from offering it on day one" thing.

If developers start to patch their games for SteamPlay on a more regular basis, this could be a big win for Linux gaming.
I remember, a couple of years ago, a Turbine developer (Lord of the Rings Online) telling on their forums that they could not officially support linux, but could make their build more "Wine friendly". They were actively discussing with Linux players to help them run the game with Wine.
If this kind of attitude may gain some traction, that would be great.

Seems that the Linux version of Supraland will not be heading to GOG (updated)

Edit: But dropping Stadia support, once players will have poured money into it, feels like saying that they'd consider dropping Google Play's support... Highly doubtful, imo.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyFrom this perspective... :DQuoting: MohandevirTalking about DRM... There was an update to Stadia's FAQ page:It's Google though. So does them deciding it's not working out and no longer supporting the whole service even count as an "unforeseen" circumstance?

From the FAQ:
"What happens to a game I bought if the publisher stops supporting Stadia in the future? Can I still play the game?
Yes. Once you purchase the game, you own the right to play it. In the future, it is possible that some games may no longer be available for new purchases, but existing players will still be able to play the game. Outside of unforeseen circumstances, Stadia will aim to keep any previously purchased title available for gameplay."
Similar to Steam, it seems.

Quoting: PatolaGreat! It's just that last time I tried (a while back), Steam took over and It created lots of issues and conflicts with SC-Controller. Good to know. I'll probably give it another shot, then.Quoting: MohandevirI run sc-controller, wait for it to get green, then I run Steam. Is there anything else you would like to know? A few weeks ago I had some conflicts with steam client beta where even when I ran it before steam, steam would detect the controller and assume control, but it did not last long.Quoting: Patolasc-controller effectively put the Steam Controller official driver to rest for me.How are you able to play Steam games without conflicts?
