Want to play Track Mania Nations Forever on Linux using Wine? There's a snap for that

If they could find a way to stay legit with Steam, GoG or other online stores, that would be awesome! Some kind of specific launcher requesting our store credentials for validations, maybe?

Edit: It would be a great relief if it is Shadow of War. I was beginning to fear that WB had abandonned Linux... Obviously it must be easier for Feral to work with a final build than a still evolving game.

Quoting: EikeUnfortunately, I guess that's what we have to deal with when we have a sub 1% marketshare... :(Quoting: MohandevirIf that's the case, insta-buy for me. It just had the final update to remove lootboxes and add content. It seems like the perfect time for a Linux port:While I would prefer to get ports the same days, there's some advantages in this late gratification...

Plus Sauron is in this game. Also, someone here mentioned Lucifer meaning "Light Bearer" in latin and Calimbrimbor is also the Bright Lord. I have really been looking forward to this game.

Paradise lost is like saying there's a knife in the game... Vague as possible. Good job Feral this one is really hard!
Shadow of War confirmed? Lol!

OpenGL to be deprecated in the next macOS release, could mean interesting things for Linux gaming

Are all the "creative applications" companies going to rewrite their softwares for Metal? Am I wrong when I say that these are relying on OpenGL still? I must admit that my knowledge might be dated on the subject, but it seems like a bold move from Apple... Or they are just aiming to completely axe the MacBook line and eventually concentrate on their mobile division only (crazy rumor I read somewhere)...
Edit: At some point the walls of the garden are going to get so high that the sun won't be able to shed light on the apple tree and it will go barren. :)

Edit: My interrogations are really at Feral's level. Hellblade would mean a change in their usual "business patern" which would be most welcome news but makes it a little less plausible, unfortunately.

Quoting: EikeYou may be right. But there are indie studios that chose to ignore Linux, though. Unfortunately, they are not all Croteam... In fact, many of these indie "Linux-friendly" studios support Linux "inhouse". A question comes to my mind and I do not have a definitive answer to it... Did Feral ever ported an indie studio title before?Quoting: MohandevirThe last piece of hint is pretty awesome, but is Ninja Theory Linux friendly? Liam might be in a better position to answer that. From an outisder's point of view, it's hard to tell. It seems to be a small studio, on Steam at least, with about 3 games + DLCs (am I wrong?). None of them are on Linux yet. Maybe it's about to change though?I think it would fit their "indie triple-A" attitude quite well.

Still, as of late, it's all about Square Enix, Sega, Codemasters and Warhammer 40K universe titles that are being ported to Linux by Feral... If it's Hellblade, I'll drink to that. :)

Quoting: Duke TakeshiActually, we have figured out so many hints pointing towards Hellblade in this thread, that it is not super unlikely it could be the teased game. Anyway, are Feral giving out their "solutions" for the riddle after the announcement of the actual title? The last piece of hint is pretty awesome, but is Ninja Theory Linux friendly? Did anyone mention Warhammer 40k, Inquisitor-Martyr? I have no clues to back my saying, but knowing the relationship between the Warhammer 40k universe and Linux... :)

Quoting: wvstolzingSo nothing to see. I was hoping someone would build on top of that with other hints but it feels more like a dead end.Quoting: razing32It's an exclusive -- also the linked reddit post hardly documents a tangible connection. It's one person's association of a single phrase from Milton, with a theme in Bloodborne. It's sort of like finding a reference to 'ears', and 'hearing' in a poem, and concluding that the writers of Star Trek TNG must have had that poem as an inspiration in creating the Ferengi.Quoting: MohandevirI thought Bloodborne was exclusive to the Playstation.Quoting: DrMcCoyDon't know if that could be the link...Quoting: liamdaweNow that's a find!Am I missing something? I still don't see the connection from Paradise Lost to Dark Souls.

Bloodborne is a "spiritual brother" to Dark Souls, from what I hear. In fact it seems it's in the same universe, but I never played. It's just comments I heard from players I know.
Edit: Found many other sources that makes the connection between Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Paradise Lost. "Dark Souls is a metaphor of life. Like a video game version of Paradise Lost." Along those lines...
