Quoting: constI've sunken some time into it, but somehow always felt bad afterwards. There's no shame in sinking time into a good game
Certain Steam Deck plugins via Decky Loader are causing bootloops

Quoting: Mountain ManRight but even then, I still keep my Steam Deck as is without any modifications and I do understand that there are those that like to make changes to it.Quoting: ToddLThis is why I avoid adding plugins or anything else to my Steam Deck because you can never tell what can go wrong.Plugins that simply customize the interface are fine. Ones that add new features or change core functionality seem to be the culprits here.

I think this bundle looks pretty good and out of all the games listed, I only own 3 of them. Might be a good time to buy it despite whatever DRM is used as long as it works on the Steam Deck and anywhere else that I might to play these games

Linux hits another all-time high for July 2024 according to Statcounter

Despite this though, I'm glad that Linux continues to gain shares and hopefully, they'll get to a point where more people will transition to it over Windows.

Quoting: MangojuicedrinkerThank you for this report! As great as Linux is for gaming, it still has issues with anti-cheat from companies that won't support the OS (e.g. EA, Activision, Bungie). Until that's resolved, along with anything else holding back gaming on Linux, the numbers will continue to stay low.
In truth, people are simply unaware of Linux.. unaware of its gaming capabilities, its now ease of use.. etc.. They are also kept back by invasive technologies such as SecureBoot which usually prevents installation of Linux..
My Windows 11 enjoyer brother-in-law was truly having a blast playing games on my Linux PC... he was also in disbelief of how good it was performance wise... (I never asked/pushed him though, he simply turned the PC on to try it himself and now has a new view on Linux..)
If people knew how easy Linux has become and how amazing levels it has reached regarding gaming performance (that it can sometimes outperform Windows 11 in even AAA titles with proton overhead!!) they would certainly use it.
Distros such as Linux Mint, Nobara, CachyOS, have given Linux both the easy GUI/OOB-Gaming experience and also have kept the power of the Terminal as well so users can really enjoy using Linux (best of both worlds)... (at least this has been the case for me who migrated from Win 7 to Linux for 2 years now..).
Despite this though, I'm glad that Linux continues to gain shares and hopefully, they'll get to a point where more people will transition to it over Windows.
Proton Experimental gets fixes for EA Launcher, Starfield: Creation Kit, The Finals

Quoting: Vortex_AcheronticHow many times did they now fixed the EA App? It feels like every new Proton version list this fix again. It's that cat and mouse game that never ends because for every new update that EA does to their crappy launcher, it breaks Proton. Once Proton fixes it, it'll break again later on and the cycle continues.
At this point it becomes the Herobrine from Minecaft. :D

I would've been all over this bundle had I not bought all of them separately at one point when building my backlog. Also, it's too bad the bundle doesn't include RE8 and RE2/RE3/RE4 Remakes because that would make this bundle worth it for the price.

I just tried this on Dragon Age Inquisition and at first, I thought it didn't work until I had to change the settings in-game to make it use the controller on the Steam Deck and Bluetooth.
Valve gives developers some big reasons to add a demo on Steam

OT: Now, if there was only a way to play demos that get delisted because whenever there's a Steam Fest going on, I don't have time to test out as many demos for a week and sometimes, when I get to a game I want to try out that used to have a demo, it ends up getting delisted.
