Valve expand Steam Input to support more of the PS5 DualSense Controller

You mean your controller is broken?
Tried to clean it?
Maybe the power button sometimes shortens?

Quoting: 1xokDoesn't happen with mine.Quoting: subReally happy with mine.Mine has starting problems after four years when I want to use it wireless with the USB dongle or via Bluetooth. It simply switches off again immediately. Sometimes it stays on and then works as usual. Most of the time it works when I connect it for a minute with a cable.
Was hoping they'll come up with a new version after stopping production.
I have another one in reserve, but it is my last one. My muscle memory for many games is tied to the controller. This is also true for one of my favorite games: Hollow Knight.
It feels bad that it is no longer officially for sale. I could retrain myself. But the other controllers are kind of boring. I'm not a friend of force feedback either (except for steering wheels). For me this is just a gimmick. It is quite cool in the beginning but you get tired of it very quickly. Most of the time I turned it off. And without FF, Sony's new controller doesn't really bring anything new.

Quoting: CatKillerThis?Quoting: PalancaWhat is your problem with CP2077? if i may ask...I've got no opinion on the game. It might be great, it might be terrible: we'll see when they stop crunching their devs and release it.
CDPR, though, are Linux-hostile, and used the CP2077 Twitter account to mock people for wanting a Linux Galaxy client.

AMD reveal RDNA 2 with Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT, Radeon RX 6800

No issues at all. Never had.

Quoting: TuxeeHmm. I have a WQHD monitor attached along with a UHD TV.Quoting: subCongrats AMD!Indeed it was. My 5700 has been chugging along for the past few months without any problems and hiccups. And everything was good - until my 5500XT (in a second machine) met kernel 5.8.13 and later. It will disable a second display with any kernel > 5.8.12. No way to activate the second display.
I got myself a 5700XT in early January.
Experience was (still is) absolutely flawless.
Worked out-of-the-box.
Performance is great for playing games in FHD and WQHD high settings.
I can't tell anything about release time but, indeed, I heard it was *rough*. :)
The recipe for problem seems to be the mixture of 2+ displays (resolutions don't matter, one display won't cut it), RDNA and amdgpu. The bugtracker on freedesktop.org is still being fed with rather bizarre bugs.

Awesome 3D emulator for the NES '3dSen PC' adds more iconic game support

I mistyped the chip.
It's actually VRC6 :)

Quoting: dpanterCurrently nice Halloween prices, 20% off 3dSen PC (6,5€) and 30% off 3dSen VR (11,75€), the VR version also works as the normal PC version so you don't need to buy twice. :)Thanks for the info.
At the moment 3dSen does not support mapper24 or additional sound chips. Geod intends to switch to a better core for improved compatibility and performance, no ETA though. That VCR6 chip sure does sound lovely...

This is such a great idea and so well executed.
The VR version though, despite providing a big wooha effect, is too stressing for my eyes/heah.
Hope he will include Castlevania 3 soon and support the Japanese version.
This came, contrary to the US/EU versions, with a separate sound chip on the module (VRC6)
and sounds nothing but amazing. N.B. only the Japanese Famicon technically supported
extra chips on the module as the SNES later did for all regions.
Just listen to this (there are ROM hacks with English text on the jap version)

Yeah, that's the original sound of the jap cartridge.

If I'd still be with my Radeon HD 7900 (I had before switching to the 5700XT)
getting one of these new beasts would be a no brainer. :)
Think my 5700 XT will be replaced soonest with RDNA3.
AMD and Lisa Su are really doing a fabulous job.
Btw, the recent news about AMD acquiring Xilinx is also *very* clever imho.
Way more than Nvidia buying ARM - especially when RISC V gains more and more well deserved attention/adoption.
ARM will still be strong for some more years - but they will be challenged.

Please consider supporting AMD.
I don't really mind proprietary games, but as a Linux user
I clearly want my computer infrastructure being as open as possible.
Hardware, drivers and libs.
This is where AMD shines, if you're smart enough to value this.
