From what I understand, it will not be a free to play title
Great!

It will have no single-player campaign

As much as Ken Silverman got his praise for being a prodigy programmer,
I remember being shocked looking at the build engine source.

Shouldn't it be a great opportunity to bring an old gem to new life
for a new generation of gamers by "just" taking what you already have?
A fantastic story and gameplay.

So take some capable programmers, gifted artist and make this happen.
Don't "add" stuff beyond minor, maybe subtle, things.

Shame on them. *facepalm*

I simply love the Zachtronics games.

Only issue I have on Linux is that my notebook is almost melting.
For whatever reason these simplistic games (presentation wise) seem to require a lot of resources on Linux.
At least for my configuration Haswell+integrated graphics.
This is different on Windows for the very same machine.

Quoting: pbJust today I was pondering on whether GOG, Nightdive and others keen on packaging old games with ScummVM and selling them for a fine buck actually contribute to the project themselves. With lots of new games added to ScummVM recently, I certainly hope so, but somehow I doubt it at the same time...
Fully agree.

It makes them so easy to monetize old products again,
so they should at least contribute a fractional amount
of revenues back to the projects they use.
Otherwise, it might be legal but unethical.

It's not just the great ScummVM.
Also DOSBox.

What else projects, btw?
