Quoting: SolitaryThat did a flyby on you I guess!Quoting: pete910Could have squeezed kernel 6.6 in :tongue:This isn't Ubuntu, there is no reason to squeeze in a specific kernel version. Fedora has rolling kernel version, so soon enough 6.6 will be in the updates for Fedora 39 and Fedora 38 too, and kernel 6.7 after that, etc... until the distro goes EOL in 13 months.

Squadron 42 finally 'feature complete', CIG talk up Vulkan support for Star Citizen

SQ42 has been delayed 3 times that I'm aware of total.
As seen across the net, Sore subject to a lot of people I see GOL is no different.
I will go a play another game for now and bow out, When it does releases I will play that too. Irrelevant to me when that will be.
Side note, I take it you did "Hold the line" ?

Quoting: ZeroPointEnergyI was pulling you up on the "Few weeks" remark as clearly stated, I certainly was not defending them.Quoting: pete910They've never sated it will be out in a few weeks to be fair, Original release got moved due to added content that the backers wanted.I'm talking about Squadron 42 just to make that clear.
The trouble is it's taken longer than both backers and the devs initially thought!
The release of this game was multiple times announced and then delayed again. First it was end of 2014 then beginning of 2015, then end of 2015. In October of 2015 they even had a trailer announcing the release of the campaign in 2016...
Maybe you are new to that game, so it's understandable that you don't know the full history. I was there from the very start over 13 years ago. Please stop making excuses for them.

Quoting: ZeroPointEnergyYeah, I believe it when it is actually released. They've never sated it will be out in a few weeks to be fair, Original release got moved due to added content that the backers wanted.
We already had such episodes where they told us they where weeks from release and it will be out before end of the year. That was years ago, can't even remember how long. How can someone be so wrong? It boggles my mind.

I see it's made zero difference despite the apparent mass of steam deck owners in the reddit thread!

Mesa 23.2 aims for release this week, with a point release next week

Why bother with a release this week only to release a point next:huh:
Why not wait, incorporate the the patches that would have been in the point release and just do 23.2 ?

Quoting: slaapliedjeDare say same could be said for DX12 too :grin:Quoting: pete910Have to ask, Why bother adding DX12 if you've done Vulkan ?Not all Vulkan cards are created equal? That'd be my guess.
Makes no sense to me .
Only thing I can think of is xbox maybe , no clue if it's on consoles or not.
