Define well? I have one (well two but the second one is useless in Linux) and it runs like crap. And when I say crap I mean 30-40 for a game that should run at about 90fps at least.

I get 80's + @ 1440p with the 15.5's . Magiea 5 64bit. Not played it for a while mind. I'll try it and check now you've said that

Does Metro/borderlands run ok for you?

Edit: mmm your right, mines on High and its bouncing between 40's up to the 100's :S:

I don't have metro but borderlands while technically around 60 stutters and dips constantly. It worse than playing the witcher 3 with crossfire and that's saying something. That's with 15.7 but bear in mind BioShock wasn't that good for me with 15.5 either.

How is a wrapper a problem if you get the same performance?

Could be the other way around. I'm sure a native port always takes a lot more time in development and QA than a wrap job, unless you're building the wrapper from scratch.

I'm inclined to agree. This is why I think VP will ultimately become the main porting company. They take about three months to port a title and they've been improving the performance more and more reaching complete equity with Windows with Arma III (which is still in beta, mind you).

Oh, I'm so sick of this "I've never taken the survey" bull. Even if you all took it it would increase the Linux percent from 0.9 to 1.5% if we're generous. Congratulations - I'm sure EA, Ubisoft and Rockstar will come running to port their AAA games. "I thought it was only 0.9%, but by God, it's 1.5!!! Quickly - call VP so we can have GTA 5 ready for Ubuntu 15.10". Somebody pointed out earlier that it is completely absurd for you to presume you're better at number crunching and market research than the entire dedicated departments of a multi-billion dollar corporation.
