I hope that they eventually support fully offline play, as you currently have to launch the game connected to the internet.

A shame that they went with Paradox, they release way too many dlcs, and their recent releases have been pretty lackluster.

DUSK HD + SDK & Steam Workshop out now - needs Proton on Linux / Steam Deck

Sadly looks like it's not going to be updated for native Linux. Looks like another dev that decided to drop support.

I don't mind playing with Proton, but game devs imo should keep all platforms they claim to support up to date, or at least remove the linux icon if the game isn't up to date.

This also causes confusion for steam deck players, since Valve has set the native version for the steam deck. Now they will probably need to update that to use proton instead for customers to get the actual game.

Feels like any good will they had with the community is gone with their recent bad decisions. This is a decent walk-back, but requiring people to be online to use the editor is annoying.

I hope people continue to use open source solutions like Godot in the future

It kind of works on amd cards through Proton if you use amdgpu-pro (VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/amd_pro_icd64.json %command%). Runs at 3-4 fps though, in menu and in-game, so not really playable.
