Quoting: ElamanOpiskelijaBut wouldn't patreonage be better support than buying a Steam Deck to keep you in business?
Of course every single Patron is highly valued! My point was more about how Valve and Steam provide the majority of the actual work for GOL nowadays.

Quoting: Cmdr_IrasYou could fitlter out the 'Meta' tag in your account profile it will then hide all these from the news feed you unless you specifically look at 'All'
I wouldn't really advise that, unless you only ever want news on specific individual games, as Meta covers everything not about a game directly.

Quoting: TodCWeird that they claim Q4 emails are going out, while mine says expected Q3 and I haven't gotten one. Maybe the cheaper ones are more readily available?
It's also a region thing too of course, some regions just have more stock.

How about the Linux desktop though? How does it run?

Well, it's a little quirky.
So much for the theory that "Steam Deck Approved" is synonymous with "Linux Approved".
Well it was never really going to be exactly. It's a fixed hardware, with software that's controlled. The issues can be worked out though in general in the GPU drivers and Proton - but the point is they wouldn't at all if not for Proton and Steam Deck.

Steam Deck got a few Beta updates recently so here's what's new

Quoting: BlackBloodRumNice! How long did the battery last playing games on a full charge?
Not something anyone could tell you. It’s different for every game.
