Quoting: PhimeekI'd like to point out, however, that Re-Volt actually wasn't on Steam before. It was first released on GOG, in 2013 before it got pulled because of the issues with the community.
Ah thanks, looks like I got the stores and dates a tiny bit mixed. Nevermind :)

Quoting: dos> I fully expect soon we will see the recent Beta versions bundled into the Stable release, so they can make way for SteamOS 3.4 which they teased recently.

This is a Steam client update, it has nothing to do with SteamOS.
I'm aware of the differences. The point remains the same. I doubt they will do a SteamOS 3.4 Beta release without publishing everything client side into stable to begin fresh.

we won't be able to make a Native Linux build, there were far too many issues and we couldn't get it to run properly. The Proton version of the game has a much smoother experience
How can this be? Why is it this way all the way nowadays? The game runs better on the get go via assets and tech made for Windows rather than what is meant for Linux?
Could be many things. Game engine issues (of which Unity often has some really annoying Linux issues), a lack of experience and thinking a click to export will just work etc etc.

Quoting: ZlopezI have one question about scheduled updates. Does those work if the device is sleeping?
Nope, the Deck does nothing while asleep. The point is more to prevent update spam whenever you turn it on.

Quoting: constGosh, reddit is really at it's worst about it.
I replied to some very angry guy that it's just about another case, so there is no need to get emotional.
He replied so angry that his post was deleted by some mods without me asking for it, yet my post was downvoted like crazy. Don't really care for the downvotes, it's reddit. Just wanted to illustrate how mobbish the mob has become.
I want real community forums back, reddit is cancer.
It's really a speciality of Reddit because of the design of the upvote system IMO. People go nuts over the smallest of things and for some people, Reddit is their personality...

Thanks for letting me know. Sadly these spambot websites appear all the time. We take one down, another two appear.

Works fine here, you likely have something blocking Adtraction.
