More BattlEye titles for Proton on Linux including DayZ, ARMA 3 now supported

I've added the DayZ fix to the article, although for me no matter what I only get a black screen - no loading screen. Sadly this means there will be no testing or videos from me.

Caves & Cliffs: Part II has arrived for Minecraft

Quoting: grace_artI was playing the pre-release last night but now the official release won't launch because of a GLFW OpenGL error... So I tried reverting back to pre-release4 and started getting the same error. Apparently this is not a new issue with Linux and Minecraft updates. I tried updating everything the internet threw at me but I guess I'm just not techie enough to understand.
Hope others have a better go with it, or Mojang fixes it soon. =(
Shame, seems to load up just fine here on Arch.

Quoting: fenglengshunI'm not sure how many people uses it, but I feel like Garuda Linux has earned enough staying power that I feel like it deserves to be on the list.
Added.

Quoting: GuestIt's an email to Battleye to turn it on. Unless they're really going to "actively" support it, which I question, why all the theater? Just send the damn email.
There's quite a few reasons actually.

For starters, enabling it would require sign-off by different people in the company. This would also need thorough testing, to ensure they're actually happy with the protection it provides. Mechanically simple for them to enable by asking, sure, but big online games have a lot to think about when enabling a new platform.

GOverlay for editing MangoHud gets a new Steam Deck friendly UI

Quoting: rustybroomhandleNow they also need to add both this and mangohud to flathub for people who won't be running their Decks in developer mode. I imagine this will be most users.

And I guess while we're at it, Lutris is not on there either. (been on flathub-beta for ages)
Yup, going with Flathub is going to be the best option for Steam Deck, hopefully we see more developers look to it.

Which doesn't officially support Linux ;)
Jesus Christ Liam. As a Linux user, are you really that afraid of a zip file? Just extract it to the override directory and that's it :)
What a dumb comment, no I am not. I simply mentioned in the article about perhaps making it easier for users. You then mentioned two ways that actually don't, so I replied to them.

Quoting: TriasI scroll through all download page and looks like they are distributing 32bit version of NWN:EE [External Link] for free? I don't really need 32bit version anymore, but still, free distribution is unexpected...
Yeah looks like it, as it's the last version supported on 32bit so it's a nice gesture as a backup for whoever still doesn't do 64bit.

Quoting: eldarionThere is already a site for that.

Which doesn't help with the issue of manual downloads that I mentioned. Steam Workshop does, mod.io does.
