Quoting: GrazenSharing the link to the source story that is being referred to by most mainstream gaming sites but oddly enough not GOL.That "source story" is not used in any form in the article. Plus, BS is junk and I want nothing to do with them.

Quoting: sanLiam, I think you should look at this SteamWorks video in which Valve states the following themselves: "Our goal is for every game to work by the time we ship Steam Deck.". That is a pretty bold statement but very clean on their expectations from the Proton compatibility layer.I'm aware of it, we did cover that video in the original announcement article.
Quoting: sanLet's stick to the facts as Valve presented them.Well, the facts are we know exactly what Proton doesn't work with already, as said in the article, which Valve themselves state in the FAQ which is also linked.

Quoting: EikeI read by one developer after they released the Linux version with delay that they had fought with setting executable rights in a zip file for Linux. You might find this sad by itself, but my point is: The little indies really should ask for help when needing some to make a Linux version. Many of us a helpful and grateful.Cheese made a tool to do exactly that: https://cheeseness.itch.io/plus-x [External Link]

Quoting: EikeLiam, I'm still not sure how you're calculating it, despite reading the description. Which numbers do you use? It's based on an older comment. I'm still not 100% sure if that's actually correct or not, maths is a real weak point of mine - the code is on GitLab [External Link] if anyone wanted to verify and fix if it's wrong.

Quoting: FauconNoirYou should use a Javascript library like Highcharts to have an interactive chart, it is cooler !We already do, on the dedicated page which is linked in the article but we're not going to stick JavaScript required stuff into an article content for something like that.

Quoting: scaineI have to admit, I bought this years ago, played it for 15 minutes, couldn't understand a thing that was happening and never went back to it. But it gets rave reviews. Not sure what I was missing. I didn't even understand the symbols, their meaning... nothing. Does it have a tutorial now? Or was I just being thick that day??It's actually pretty easy to understand. The symbols are the stations. Each station will spawn passengers of a certain symbol, and it's your job to get them to the correct matching station. That's literally it.
