AFAIK what's holding up Proton is that WINE > 5.09 broke esync/fsync. Proton might get updated, but it will probably still be based off 5.09.

Speaking of Valve, I'm worried at how long it's been since the last Proton update. This is leaps and bounds the longest I can remember them going without an update. Even glorious eggroll has only had 1 update in months, and that's mostly a maintenance release. I wonder what the hold up is?

Let's hope a new version of Proton is inbound soon. This is the longest I can remember without a new version. I know, I know, I could always install Glorious Eggroll, but I'm lazy. :tongue:
