Quoting: marcelomendesIt looks so beautiful in comparison to Beasts of Prey, and with UE4 so much better on performance, but this:I can see how that makes some people sad. Personally, I want nothing to do with Early Access, so as long as we get day 1 Linux release, I'll be a happy camper.
"The Linux and Mac clients will be ready for full release, not for early access, sorry!"
Just makes me sad. =/

I mean, the man has directed/produced Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow, 2 of my favorite games. And, yes, he also directed some of the 3D Castlevania games that were not so good. Still, I'm in. I can't pass up a 2.5D Castlevania game by Iga.

Star Trek Comes To Linux, Star Trek 25th Anniversary & Star Trek Judgement Rites On GOG

I took a chance and scooped up 25th Anniversary. I appreciate they provide a .deb for this, as I like it autopopulating my menu and such, rather than me having to manually edit my start menu. It would be nice if they also provided an .rpm for Red Hat-based distro users, but GOG only officially supports Ubuntu and Mint, so it's understandable. Anyway, works great for me out of the box. I only just started, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. The banter between Bones and Spock, as expected, is awesome.
Larian Studios Working On A New Game While Divinity: Original Sin Is Still Not On Linux

To be fair, Larian did expand after their recent success to where they now have 2 locations. It;s entirely possible that this game is being made at the newly opened location that would have nothing to do with the Linux port of D: OS.
Review: Broken Age On Linux

Personally, I love the art style. Unfortunately, the game itself is a disappointment to me. It's a tale of two acts, neither of which is particularly good. The first act is charming and somewhat interesting, but with childishly easy puzzles. The second act has some better puzzles, but the story falls apart. Overall, I feel it's a rather mediocre game.
As a backer of this game, I'm glad it eventually saw the light of day, but between this and the Spacebase DF9 fiasco, I've lost all faith in Tim Schafer & Co.

Every time I see the words "Early Access Survival" I just laugh and walk away. Some of these games might turn out to be quite good, but there's like a metric ****ton of Early Access survival games. I swear, I see like 2 more every week, it's crazy. If all these Early Access survival games happen to come out at about the same time, it will be the most ridiculously oversaturated genre.

Everyone I've talked to says that the story DLCs are mediocre at best and not really worth it (I've only played a little bit of the base game on my friend's PS4). That said, I'll still likely pick up the GotY Edition.
