Remember that Physx is a feature for a second graphics card.
On windows 7, to install and configure two graphics card, one for game and another for Physx, is a simple thing to do, on Linux I don't know.

Quoting: wvstolzingI did the physx esperiment with Metro 2033 Redux and it works on Proton, but it eat the CPU...Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoLike it was predicted, Metro 2033 REDUX works via Proton 3.16-6 beta with much better performance than the crappy port... with some insignificant light glitches.. But is Platinum.. ... I can't figure how to run the benchmark. How about the bits using physx effects? (Though I can't remember if 2033 had any of those; Last Light certainly did -- only in the windows version.)

I tried Deadfall Adventures and it crashed my machine after a minute....
But is kind of pointless, because is a DX9 game, not a DX11....
Only VK9 project will be able to give a performance boost to this game.

the screen resolution is properly detected, unlike the port.

I can't figure how to run the benchmark.

But that is the main problem with the gaming on Linux: We need true game developers and not just porters...
Porters are a second class citizens in the development world because they don't create any content, they just adapt content created by others.... Is like to compare a translator with the original writer..
Maybe, someday, Valve will pay Feral for to make a game.

Quoting: GuestFeral is a porting house, not a developer. And contracts might be rather specific - maybe they can port, publish, but not change how the game is played.I would like to see an official statement from Feral about that...
Also, hard enough to ensure existing features work without adding new ones.
Those are my guesses.
