Quoting: adolsonI can't wait for it to finally be out so that I never have to hear about it again.I know right? As someone who has no interest in the title it is rather irritating to constantly see "Durr hurr Divinity Origami Shin NEW ANNOUNCEMENT this hour!" plastered between all of the interesting posts.

Quoting: alexJava is however a big problem since Minecraft for one is using it. Maybe you could compile it using GCJ:Minecraft was never made available on Steam. Minecraft Storymode, yes but that's a different game. And I don't see Java being included in the Steam runtime any time soon because legal issues.

I have never tried but with some minor "porting" it might compile. Or maybe they could make the Steam Runtime include Java?

They plan to support gaming on Linus? I'm not sure he's going to appreciate that.

Saints Row 2 & 3 Are Being Ported By Virtual Programming

Quoting: IlyaI hope Saints Row IV and Gat (which is a standalone SRIV mod IIRC) get a native port. I really don't mind SR2 & 3 being VP, their last ports have been good and the games are unlikely to get ported otherwise. Unfortunately I already own them both. I haven't played 2 though, and I'm sure I can find a friend who doesn't own them ^^Agree, the general rule should be ~3 years or older > wrap it. Any newer than that and the game is better served native.

The only one missing is the original, which doesn't seem to be on Steam anyway.Liam, the first one has never been ported to PC to begin with. And it doesn't seem we're missing much as Saints Row didn't become the Saints Row we know today until the second game.
