Quoting: TheBossAs soon as Liam is finished gorging on Christmas eggnog and pursuing wild reindeer, we received a battery of three articles in one day. No reason to complain.Quoting: StianTheDarkI'm going to guess you meant it came out over 11 days ago...Quoting: TheBossHuh?The update came quite for over 11 days ago :p
So, what? No need to be silly about it, i take breaks now and then, especially around Christmas time.

Quoting: minjLooks like arch is growing :)A testament to a healthy, diverse set of interfaces competing with eachother. The same can't be said for the distributions category which appears to be Debian/Arch dominated.
It's funny how 5 DEs have an almost identical share
Saints Row: Gat out of Hell now available on SteamOS and Linux

Quoting: BeamboomIf I'm not mistaken, Gat out of Hell was originally meant to be just an expansion for SR4 but then the studio turned bankrupt and (my guess) they figured they'd fetch more money by wrapping it up as a sequel. The public excuse was, I believe, that the expansion turned out to become bigger than originally planned.I thought they did the exact same thing with Saints Row 4. It was to be just an expansion to 3 originally.
Quoting: TheBossAdded some thoughts on how it runs now.I just tried it out on my A10 system (no graphics card) and aside from some stutter from scenery loading, it runs fine. You would think that a machine running a ported game + AMD drivers + integrated graphics would be hopeless. Okay, the CPU fan spools up annoyingly but that's my own problem. The minimum specifications are appropriately listed.
[Its another game where the minimum specs for SteamOS/Linux are listed too low.]

3:07 the man making a special trip to the lamp to cry reminds me all too much of The Sims. Hopefully this is a systems-management game more than it is person-management.

I think the term you're looking for is bird's-eye-view. I don't think anyone necessarily loves or hates it, it is just easier to make a game in that fashion.
