Quoting: X6205After several successfull ports from Square-Enix has Feral made partnership with another japanesse developer - CAPCOM. Comming soon for linux: Resident Evil 7

..sorry, could not resist :p
Are you just hoping or is this Capcom deal really happened?

Actually,i won't surprise if it will come to Linux.Since it's cracked in it's first week they can consider that but i will be much pleasant with Skyrim and Rise of The Tomb Raider.
Why are you guys always referring to Skyrim? BETHESDA hardly did any move towards Linux. They didn't eve make it to port their game to consoles while they said so.

There is NO official statement I'm aware of about a deal beween Feral Interactive and Bethesda. So please, do let me know, where did you find those information?

I'm downloading the Game right now. I'll report back how it will work on Linux-AMD-STAGING-KERNEL + AMDGPU (including DAL) + Mesa 17! Stay tuned! ;)

Fumiko! Possibly one of the weirdest platformers I've ever played was developed on Linux, lots of bugs

The game looks amazing! I might give it a try when it's more polished. I might play Deus: Ex and Hitman first.

The competition (mostly Lenovo) has better prices, but again, System76 is a company dedicated to Ubuntu hardware...

If it wasn't for the cost of shipping to Europe + the custom tax, I would consider getting a laptop from them.
Speaking from an ignorant point of view, what are the advantages of getting a System76 Ubuntu dedicated desktop to a desktop choosing the components myself and installing Ubuntu (or any other distro)?
Nothing, you just pay extra. I did never understood why I should be doing so. Claiming that company is dedicaded to Linux is somehow true, but also on Lenovo Thinkpads and Dell Latitudes Linux runs pretty fine as well as the overall hardware quality is much better. Ofc they don't have gaming mashines - I'm talking about business class.

Thank you feral! I bought "HITMAN" from your store as well as "Deus Ex: Mankind Devided" from Steam, since it's on sale over there. Actually I wanted to go for the season pass - I just missed it because the ratings of it are "VERY NEGATIVE" - I don't feel like wasting money. ;)

Aspyr Media state they are looking at ways to improve Civilization VI performance on Linux

Quoting: LinasSo does Bundle Stars or does it not sell the actual Linux keys?
Bundle Stars sales windows keys only. So guys above did not support Linux gaming at all.
To be clear this only affects external porters. For all normal developers it shouldn't matter.
That's true, it it won't count as a Linux Sale, therefore the Linux market will look smaller than it actually is.

Not enough loot? Seriously? It's one of the things I do appreciate about this game, everything is quite balanced. Lot's of loot, but not too much, competitive fights, but not too hard, Hack'n'Slay, but not too fast.....(:

Except for the performance, which isn't a real problem due to the genre of the game, I think it's pretty much perfect!

I'm happy DOS 2 is not out for Linux yet since it is early access. Still I wouldn't mind it to be released as a day 1 port or maybe a few weeks later (major bugs might be fixed by then).

Project Cars 2 now has a trailer, with no mention of their promised Linux/SteamOS support

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTNowadays we just don't need ignorant publishers anymore? So: Come one, FUCK YOU Blizzard, FUCK YOU EA, FUCK YOU Bethesda.... The list could go one forever.
I wouldn't put the whole of Blizzard on that list, their devs have been known to fix issues with their games using WINE.
It's the corporate part of Blizzard that deserves a big "fuck you", and that would be Activision and any CEO :D
You're right, this wording was addressed to the Business and CEOs alike. Of course I do appreciate the work the devs put unofficially into Linux.

There we also rumours in the past that a WOW Linux Client existed, but only for the purpose of internal testing.

I'm happy to change my mind any time they would start to port their library to Linux. I already signed petitions for them to do. Luckily those times are left behind: Take my money if you have well-made Linux ports, otherwise I just don't care anymore.
