Most certainly they will either sell those in the end or give them to us for free. At least after the game is finished finished.

It's Open Source under the GPL. They could charge for it as long as the source code is free but I highly doubt that they will do so.

Don't get me wrong, those look like a fairly good processor! Since the IPC is almost the same in comparison to Intel Core i processors >= 3570k I see no reason to upgrade. Game hardly profit from more than 2 Cores, some do use 4 Cores but quite a few, especially under Linux, are still bound to the speed of only one core!

Obviously this processor will beat down 4-6 Core processors when it comes down to multi core performance benchmarks and use cases. :)

Dungeons 2 is a really nice game! I'm not sure about 3 though. To me it seems they just rush to continue the franchise for the sake of earnings. I'd better stick do Dungeons 2 and see how Dungeons 3 turns out to be.
