While it's certainly a very different approach, Hades might be another alternative. Sure, you'll have to rebuild all the time, but the gameplay is just so addictive and the lore caught my interest much more then most arpgs ever did.

Great news. Had a lot of fun playing Drawful 2 and Quiplash interlashional with my family and wished I could show them more Jackbox games, but most of them don't really speak english. Trivia murder party will certainly be a hit with them.
Hope they continue localizing most games, now that they should have plenty resources :D

Steam Deck gets per-app performance profiles, hardware survey and loads more

On the other end, you learned a lot, so make sure to release and document everything as good as possible. That knowledge should not be lost.
I'd say the plugin could be extended with community features, yet I'm 90% sure Valve will follow up with that, too. They'd only need to hook it to the system that handles the controller profiles. If you think you can create value on top of that...

Quoting: bonaparteOh, that must be really frustrating. So much work :(Quoting: TrainDocYou're kidding me. I was just finalizing my implementation and upload. :cry:My condolences, perhaps you could pivot to a plug-in that lets users switch between multiple profiles and/or easily import and export community profiles from/to sharedeck.games or elsewhere?

Quoting: Loftyor perhaps by that point an Arch Spin with the all the SteamOS tweaks rolled in.SteamOS forks and distros with GameUI ports will get soo exciting in the future. I love SteamOS3 on my deck, but at this point, I wouln't consider using this on a laptop (maybe in dualboot, though)

Quoting: TrainDocIf you and whoever does sharedeck.games fancy, I might help out integrating your plugin with the website.Quoting: bonaparteHave you seen sharedeck.games [External Link]? There is also a reddit thread about the site [External Link]. Integration between Performance Presets and sahredeck.games would be awesome.Looks cool but I don't see any git repo I can access and I don't know see an API I could use. Either way integration of that sort will not be coming from me at the moment due to scope. Currently butting my head up against the fact that Valve doesn't provide a functional file picking dialog as well as the File APIs in the JS that ships with the deck doesn't work either... Anyone with more python and JS experience than me (especially dealing with minified JS) is welcome to contribute https://github.com/TrainDoctor/PerfPresets [External Link] as I am definitely in need of assistance.

Quoting: constOne of the few games I was kind of underwelmed with on the Deck. Enjoyed the game and imagined it would be kind of awesome to play portable, but somehow it's rather meh...Just retried and have to take back my comment. Works great on deck now :)

Anyway, pretty cool. I'm planning to do something similar, yet with a community approach. Your code should be very very helpful in that regard (If I ever find time :()

Quoting: TrainDocIt isn't PowerTools but I wanted to give ya'll a little sneak peak of what I've been working on and even working with NGnius on:Do you see any chance to automate loading the settings when a game is started?

Quoting: McCartheeThis is awesome. The Plugin Loader has exciting potential. It does. Currently don't have time, but in a week of two, I'll see if I could create a plugin to view, post and potentially discuss configurations of currently running/viewed games. Not sure if plugin manager can already access info about running games, among other details, yet something like this seems so necessary to me. Still hope Valve will come up with a system for that :/
