Didn't enjoy the book, but then I read it when I was done with the song of ice and fire and probably expected to much.

Micro Machines World Series is being ported to Linux by Virtual Programming

Wasn't there some other Top-Down Racer confirmed recently? Sadly, I'm really bad with this kind of games :(

SteamOS updated, Valve drops AMDGPU-PRO for Mesa

Heck, Valve could create momentum with some collectible cards and hats alone. I don't understand it, but people seem to care about collectibles in steam a lot.
Regularly annoncing to drop some in this or that game on linux on a regular basis might just generate enough interest once the ecosystem is ready.

Cossacks 3 may be closer to a Linux release

Quoting: TcheyYep, not many good RTS for Linux (yet ?), but still some good choices : [...]
I was referring to the RTS's that kind of feel like / play like the good old Age of Empires series. With lots of medieval armies and whatnot. But on your list are a few games I wasn't aware are out for Linux / aware of at all. Will check them out!
You now reminded me to try 0AD once again.

Quoting: constThe bundles this year had so much value for linux gamers, they are really worth a second look after release.
May: dirt rally, undertale, metrico+ and gonner. Inside may come later
April: Black Mesa, Layers of Fear, Tumblestone, Slime-san. Event[0] and The witness may come later
March: TotalWar Warhammer, RIVE, Poly Bridge, Uurnog, Flat Heroes
February: XCom2, SteamWorld HEIST, Oh, Dear...
We already got Inside. It was unlocked the same time as Dirt Rally. Check your keys on the site.

I've been subscribed since XCOM 2. I didn't want that one a whole lot to be honest, but the bundle for $12 was still worth it to me. Since then, every month that they tell you what the front-runner game of the next month is going to be, I can't unsubscribe! I think it rocks. I wanted the Warhammer game really bad, I wanted Dirt really bad, and next month is Stellaris?! It's amazing.

It also helps that I dropped my EVE subscription at the same time I signed up for Humble Monthly. :)

For the purists out there, you can gift Windows-only games (with no hope of coming to Linux) to your friends on the dark side. That's what I do. I did, however, keep The Witness because I really want it to come to Linux. :S:
Sorry for not beeing clear. I meant that Inside may come to linux at some point. AFAIK it currently isn't.
And I pretty much do the same with the non-linux titles.

Daedalic Entertainment will be bringing Ken Follett's 'The Pillars of the Earth' to Linux

Found neither the book nor the movie-series particularly interesting. But it might make a good setting for an adventure, as the dull plot and plain characters are quite resembling what you would await from a lucas-arts-age adventure. (Which are awesome, don't get me wrong)

F1 2016 won't be coming to Linux, as sales of F1 2015 weren't strong enough

Porting houses are dependent on the ecosystem they develop for. That for, it makes a lot of sense to concentrate on titles that complete the catalogue of the target or have huge impact.
Our racing-catalogue has really improved, while a lot of other key genres are still lacking behind.

The developers of 'Ticket to Ride' have abandoned Linux support for their game

Quoting: WerzazWell, I agree that the graphics could be more modern but users can in fact create their own game modules (not sure where you got the impression they couldn't), which are just files that can easily be distributed.
Sorry, seems like I misunderstood that part. And kudos to the project as well as tabletop simulator. Anyway, it's not really holding me back from my project.
