I heard their also commissioned to produce System Shock 3??? did I read that correctly somewhere?
I love system shock so I hope they get this remake done and do it justice, and are able to make system shock 3.
I love Sci-Fi tech cyberpunk sort of stuff, never really enjoyed the bioshock or that other city in clouds game...too unrealistic and cartoonized.

I hope Raven Ridge 2 will work in AM4+ motherboards also, and that they offer a 8core version running at 4.5ghz, NOW that would be awesome, it's what I will hold out for to replace my 1600 CPU with.

Valve GOG etc will just haft to pay Microsoft to get access to their user-base in the future. IT WILL HAPPEN, just a matter of when. Not like they can do anything about it, sure they could argue anti competitive behaviour but I don't think that would truly fly in court these days given what we have seen happen in other industries. Basically they can push their own platform however they like, just like how MacOS does, and Netflix etc etc......
Alternatives exist like SteamOS and Linux, unfortunately its hard to move people off Windows. For example I'm using it atm because I have Fallout 4 / SkyrimSE / Witcher 3 on windows, can't run them on Linux (wine) at 4K@60fps...

This is what happens when only one person maintains a branch. A common problem for Linux projects like this.

It's a great Linux game, and pretty good for a game based off the unstable linux support in the Unreal engine. Kinda due for a XCOM3 release really, and I'm pretty sure given the ending of XCOM2 its going to be Terror From The Deep reboot, which would be nice because it introduces a whole need playing field with new weapons and environments.
I just hope they don't ditch surface based missions also, like on oil rigs and ports etc...
