I'm sure with some mods it could look a tad better. But often these old games are quite janky.

It does not. The issue doesn't affect everyone but does affect my 4090 (and others have said they had the issue). Could be dependent on multi monitor setups where refresh rate of main display is above 75hz. In my testing.

The bug is so bad for me it locks up Linux entirely. No recovery.

HMMMM, I wonder if this fixed high refresh rate bug for my 4090 (it is 100% driver bug) when logging into Wayland with >75hz is set on primary. (IT DIDN'T)

Syncing up engine versions between platforms is a nightmare apparently for developers. I see this problem cropping up continuously with games that release for Linux and Windows or MacOS and Windows etc...

At this point it's obvious Valve is deliberately avoiding the AU/NZ market.
They have lost some legal battles here so perhaps they are salty over that still...
