If there was one at the quality of my G604 mouse I'd be interested. But it looks like price would be quite a bit higher.

Here is some games with issues to illustrate my point. MESA/RADV, no idea about nvidia.
ELEX (requires workaround or gfx glitching)
Risen3 (same as above but crashes randomly often)
Max Payne 3 (tessellation bugged on RADV)
Operation Flashpoint 2 + Red River (needs gfw fix, but menu ctd, doesn't render).
NMS (people complain about random issues all the time)
The list goes on, basically Valve needs to address some backward compatibility with older games via proton more IMO.
Then we have all the anticheat stuff on top... for the most part broken with proton.

Quoting: dorronRed Dead Redemption 2 on the goSkyrimSE, no problem.. RDR2? hmmmm...
Quoting: elmapulbut for normal folks who use windows, play on consoles and are used to have games working almost perfectly? those issues will not be tolerated.IN MY EXPERIENCE, proton has more issues with OLDER games then newer. I can't tell you how many older games have had all sorts of random issues. Only the newer games that people play in numbers get real attention.

Really Valves biggest defense here is; What about Apple!?¿ I mean the Apple store cases with Epic are still ongoing, but they were not about the cost to use the platform anyway.
I think eventually however Valve will need to make it so Indie developers can pay less on their platform, maybe they can tie it to the release of Source3.0 engine? I don't know...

Quoting: Sojiro84I just hope the base UI get's a update ASAP.It would be nice to see Steam get a proper UI scaling option in the form of percentile options or a 1.x multiplier, whatever. Atm its sort of a roll the dice and see what you get option...

Still waiting for that anti cheat support to drop but not happening yet. I've tried to get developers support wine64 platform on EAC (a option btw), but it appears they just ignore me like I'm made of glass... (many attempts)

Finally managed to fix my star citizen and fsr, unfortunately it doesn't help the game. Star Citizen has DEEP DOWN issues in its core, even changing dramatically between low res and high res yields same framerate performance, and CPU isn't pegged.

Quoting: lqe5433etc. so it should be a some amount of clicks to build the game to Linux if there will be demand for it.Unfortunately devs I've asked don't agree. They claim games simply don't work when they try to port to Linux and need a huge amount of manual tweaking and testing which consumes a large amount of time.
