Trouble is brewing over on GOG due to the HITMAN release needing online for some features

Quoting: sunofpearl89If GOG is going to start including DRM-ridden crap, then I should just use Steam instead. They support Linux better, anyway.
I think several games need GOG2.0 for multiplayer access to work, which is DRM for Multiplayer.

Quoting: ShmerlOn-line connection for single player game? What for? I don't even get the reason for it, let alone any benefit.
Yeah I hate companies that do this. Remember that new simcity game that did that?! what a load of BS that turned out to be, and this be no different.

This is basically trying to make the game have a expiry date, which will be whenever the company decides they don't want to support the game server side any-more, and we have already seen what happens, think GamesForWindowsLive fallout!
Basically needs players to go crack the game to play... why even pay for it at the point!?

I think you can set folders as case insensitive with ext4 and I'd hope proton prefixes do this automatically.

Following the footsteps on Fallout and Wasteland, ATOM RPG Trudograd is out now

There is a Russian voice over pack for the original ATOM RPG. Its a shame they can't just hire a team to do a English voiceover dlc, I wouldn't even mind paying $5 or $10 for such a thing. (and for original game)

AMDGPU's generally have a good OpenGL implementation now also. Thought I haven't testing much OGL games recently and I do have a 6800XT atm so its kind of expected to perform well.

Been using this with xanmod kernel for a while. It mostly works but there are some games that don't like it and will refuse to launch. Mostly older 32bit games.

Wine development release 6.17 is out with continued work for the GDI syscall interface

Can anyone list some specific use cases for this GDI system? do games even benefit or is this more of a application thing? (which is ok imo, applications under wine are always finicky)
