Are the next playoffs coming up? They used to organise some national tournaments, didn't they. I watched some on youtube, seemed quite nice how the teams worked together.

LOL :D All I meant is the freaking arcade physics is unintuitive for someone used to the real life motorcycle - I hit things I shouldn't, can't fit where I want to, speeding and steering feels weird. I admit, it's kind of forgiving most of the time but still. I found it more of a chore than fun and hated the short time I was paying it.

BTW I agree with most of the "rpg focused on graphics sucks" and "it's a silly game" opinions so I'll pretend I didn't catch the irony. If there was any I mean.

@Liam, maybe you should include a legend or a mini-dictionary in the beginning of such correspondence? :D You know, something like:

PC - personal computer, system agnostic
Windows / MacOS / Linux - operating system (OS for short)
Steam - a software distribution platform

Quoting: 14[...] pre-ordering has like no incentive other than that little feeling you get when you spend money.
The incentive should be to give the developer money he needs to finish the game. Things like crowdfunding or early access shouldn't exist. Pre-ordering guarantees you'll receive the product or your money back and is, IMO, the only acceptable form of paying ahead.

Quoting: 14[...] buy games on sale even if we don't have time to play the games we already own. What does this all sound like to me? Addiction.
Oh, I agree... I agree hard! :'(

Quoting: mcphail[...] [Investment -- the act of putting money or effort into something to make a profit or achieve a result](https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/investment [External Link]).
I.e. to "back" a project is to put your money in hopes the product in question will be made. [...]
I don't think you understand the definition correctly. You put in money to get a profit (a business investment) or put in effort to get a result (a personal investment). I might be wrong, of course. Just saying I agree with Guppy. Saying Kickstarter helps at least some games to get on Linux is false advertisement. Pre-order process helps games come to Linux and the difference is you get the final product or your money back. Crowd funding where some of the users get their product and some not is simply scam.

Certainly looks promising. Let's hope we won't get disappointed as usual (admittedly bit less frequent than in the past but still).
