Quoting: lucinosI have no opinion. Just wanted to say I run steam-runtime on Manjaro.i3 + Intel i5 + Nvidia GTX without issues. If I ever had to (not once so far) I can run steam-native as well but so far I found out two games that don't run on native and run with valve's runtime, not the other way around.Quoting: cprnDo you not run Steam runtime anyway? I see no point in running native libs that might or might not work with a particular title. It's way more effective to just use what's provided and tested.try to run steam runtime on intel or amd. It does not work. You need steam-native. System libraries should not had been on steam runtime they only make the problem worse.

I still think Rain World is the best candidate for a one man port. It's 2d, some work is already done, and the dev abandoned it, it seems. Finishing the job would show that specialists like Ryan Gordon simply bring money to the table.

I watched championship once. It was good. Really good. They're probably getting ready for another one. I was playing it a lot (because of AvP <3 years back) but the way the camera works when aliens climb walls totally puts me off.

Even if they fix it, I'm still not playing it because of that ridiculous reset system.
What games do you want ported to Linux? Feral Interactive want to know again

I'll probably be somewhat unpopular but... Rain World - they promised Linux version on Kickstarter and never delivered. The game runs nicely with wine but I'm not willing to support them before they support my platform, even though I really want to play the game.

After this release I'd consider streaming. If I had time, I mean. And was more handsome. And funny. Or had one viewer other than my mum.

It almost never makes sense when a game developer tries to invent an in-house tool when there are many far more popular, far better financed and most of all working tools available. What they do is thinning their workforce in hope of savings. Lack of experience and unforeseen difficulties will crush them in a year or so after wasting tons of money and time.
