Other than Factorio, which I put about 80 hours into, I recently finished World of Goo and Hexcells. I also put a fair amount of time into Lyne and Spacechem again, and a handful of other games that I abandoned after playing.
Personally, I've had two 8bitdo controllers, a sf30pro and an sn30pro+, and both of them are still working with no build quality issues. Of course, my F310 is also still working with no build quality issues, so it could be that I'm just not using them that hard.

It seems like a short term benefit, with a potential long term downside. If you make it easy to just run the games in compatibility mode, most devs might just consider that good enough and not bother with a native port.
OS/2's windows 3.x and Win32S support was believed to be part of why fewer apps were ported to OS/2, and at the same time, the fact that MS kept intentionally breaking Win32S support on OS/2 made it a poor experience for a lot of the users, which drove users away from the platform.
We'll see though how it turns out.

Quoting: RTherenBeware guys/gals.Yep, this is why I said in my post that I'm not going to buy this until I see working, final units in the wild. I want an AMD based portable console, but I don't want it enough to throw the money away before they have proof it's a real thing.
This has a very high potential of being scam

What are you playing on Linux this weekend and what do you think about it?

I just finished Keen's Dreams in 1.5 hours. It's not a bad little platformer, though I did have to do the save-reload-reload-reload-reload-reload-save thing to get past some areas of the game. It would be improved without a lives counter.

After all of the false starts, I'm waiting to see proof of shipped working units before I buy. I'm definitely wanting to buy it though. It would be much better than the Intel graphics in the GPDWin2.

This game was tied with Finding Paradise for best Linux game last year for me. I kind of like TIS-100 more, but this is the best one they've made since that.

Quoting: QantouriscI counted only 5 degrees of freedom:Y rotation should exist too if they're cloning descent. Of course, hardly anyone actually uses y rotation. I had it assigned to the 7 and 9 keys on my keypad in descent. (slide up and down - +, forward and back were 0 and . 1 and 3 for slide left and right, 2/4/6/8 for other rotations.

To me, if this policy would become widespread it'd just make me even less likely to buy windows games. I can see how it might hurt those who already have a lot of windows games though.
I try to avoid any windows games unless they're from a developer that I really like. (Xseed, NIS America, Atlus, Stardock, etc.)

Some thoughts on switching from Ubuntu to Antergos for Linux gaming

I haven't had the same issues you have with Ubuntu, but I'm running Ubuntu 16.10 with Cinnamon myself. I used to run Mint 17.3, but to support my new RX480 card I had to break from tradition a bit. I still use Mint 17.3 at work, with my laptop running Fedora right now so I can test Wayland+Gnome.
I should try KDE myself, last I tried it, it struggled with the AMDGPU-PRO drivers on Ubuntu 16.04 (as did Cinnamon.) Now that I'm on plain AMDGPU, it might work better.
I should try Arch at some point, but I'm pretty happy with my setup right now.

When it comes out, it'll probably be Disgaea 2, but other than that it's a tough problem. So many great games.
