Funnily using proton was always a workaround to me because native games doesn't recognize my x360 controller and nowadays they don't have sound on my fedora 35 (maybe pipewire bug?).

I played two unity games yesterday and both ran ok

Welcome to Linux/Proton issues. I had a lot of titles that I needed to follow a guide written by me and even it didn't work anymore on the same distro.

Looks like Budgie 11 will use EFL instead of GTK, I hope that it goes all right in the transition to make it less dependent on gnome.

XCOM 2's multiplayer being removed but will still work on Linux and Steam Deck

Dude, first of all: why XCOM has a multiplayer in the first place?

I loved EU and 2, but never noticed that XCOM 2 has multiplayer.

I sincerely doubt that most of you that are complaining played it multiplayer.

Most of those playable issues are easy to do a workaround, but good to know that they are looking at it, maybe they fix those in a spare time.

I have some weird issues on GNOME Wayland, it suddenly become sluggish. Searching by solutions, it need to close the friend list or put it in another workspace. As it happens only in this specific setup (gnome and Wayland) maybe the bug is on the WM.

I love Feral and I respect a lot their work, they are amazing. But yeah, fragmentation IS a issue, and Linux do a little to support older softwares (which is comprehensive) while Windows has a system bloated to just works™.

As their ports doesn't runs in a container, sooner or later it will stop working.
