I'm curious to know if this deck verified will work as whitelist, "locking" it to a specific proton version. Because I had issues in the past that a game stopped working after an update on proton.

Quoting: MayeulCI wish they added split-screen in the UI. You can launch it with the console, but it's hardly intuitive.
I didn't know that it's possible to play l4d in splitscreen on PC, lol.

Dota 2 on Linux gets upgraded to use the newer Steam runtime container

On reddit you see a lot of people complaining that CSGO don't work in a lot of distros: Ubuntu 21.10, Fedora 35, Manjaro, OpenSUSE, etc. An issue "easily" fixable by running steam on Flatpak.

I hope that they soon use the containerization on CS to fix it.

Quoting: ArehandoroI didn't know of the existence of such device, but it might be what I'm looking for. If only had a SIM module, so we could install Phosh and use it as a tablet/phone as well...

EDIT: Just saw the price. Maybe it's not what I want after all.
LOL. Yeah, the price of those devices are uninviting.

Maybe you find some "alternative" tablet x86 on Chinese sites like Banggood. I'm not sure if they uses SIM.

Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard

I don't know why you guys are worried, Activision/Blizzard is a cancer, a lot of bad practices. (I read that Diablo 2 ressurected has some "check in DRM" which you need to login every 30 days to keep playing)

And the first party games usually works on proton.

I mean, the war is against Sony, which to be honest, even with that huge amount of studios, PlayStation is still more interesting than XBox.

They could put some cosmetic dlcs just to work as donations. I know that there's another way to donate, but steam has a lot of payment methods and of course there's money from trading cards and sell things on market

Trouble in Solus Linux land as their Experience Lead quits

When a leader or the creator leaves a project, the project generally falls. Unless of course if it's a huge project with various leaders. I hope that Solus keep evolving.

About this SerpentOS is a bit weird, the guy already had a great distro, who guarantee that he will not abandon this too?

I'm not following those issues, but on Reddit everyone that posted was using nvidia. This is happening on Mesa too?
