Quoting: SolitaryIn what way do you crash? I usually just freeze, 2 CPU cores get to a 100% usage by Talos and Xorg process, the time to crash seems random, it might be an hour or 5 minutes.Hard lock of the system with black screen, ctrl + alt + f1 was not responding... so hard reboot (which isn't a good idea, I've read that there is a more secure way to reboot the system... should note that somewhere for my next adventure in Vulkan's lands ^^). Well, that was just one experience with Vulkan so I can't say the crash is reproducible or whatever (I've reported it on Steam and it seems that I'm not the only one who was experiencing this kind of crash). :)

Will try this week-end the new build with the new stable 378.13 driver... Vulkan was sweet during my last test, but my PC encountered a hard crash after less than 2min of gameplay. ^^

For Ubuntu 16.04 users, Mesa 17 should be backported to 16.04.3 point release (and will be available in 17.04), and there is a new "official" ppa with Mesa 13.0.4 by Timo Aaltonen (source [External Link] from reading a Softpedia article [External Link]. :)

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTGuys, you may have answered that question regarding the Ubuntu version yourself just by reading: The game requires Mesa 13.0.2 and the appropriate LLVM package. If you can deliver that + the depended libs you should be alright. Since the Mesa performance heavily relies on the kernel you may have performance regressions by using an older Kernel.Well, Mesa 13.0.2 is only required for AMD cards, not for NVIDIA so Ubuntu 16.10 (which doesn't ship with Mesa 13.0.2 btw) should not be needed for NVIDIA users, ellie_Feral commented on that on Reddit (source [External Link]. DiRT Rally should probably works on Ubuntu 16.04, even with AMD if the MESA 13.0.2 ppa is activated. :)
Major Stable Steam client update, Xbox controller config support, vastly improved Linux client

As far as I can tell, it works as intended for me on Ubuntu 16.04 with Unity (right or left click, I have a functional menu). Perhaps I have installed in the past the libraries needed to solve the bug (as described in the link) for another reason. :\

Quoting: DarkDuoGamesWe've seen this problem regarding the mouse too. We Googled to see if anyone else had seen anything like this in Unity and funnily enough, one of the top results is to this very site:The issue tracker here: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/screen-dot-lockcursor-under-linux-breaks-input-dot-getaxis [External Link] seems to indicate that despite the bug is "fixed" since Unity3D 4.5.2 people continue to encounter it. Perhaps the last comment on the issue tracker is giving clues for solving it:
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/have-mouse-problems-in-unity3d-games-on-linux-see-here-for-fixes.3377
It talks about using a different windows manager. Since this is all new to us we would love it if someone who knows more about this sort of thing could offer some advice on the subject?
DDG
I just found something which should've been obvious; if you're still experiencing this problem in October 2015 and it's related to the mouse acting strange when using lockCursor, keep in mind that lockCursor is in fact obsolete and the docs suggest using Cursor.lockState instead.Maybe that's the source of the problem... If not, I suggest asking Unity3D dev'... :|

Quoting: WorMzyIt runs well, but I seem to have an intermittent issue when using a mouse where I can't move my paddle to the bottom of the screen. It's almost as though the paddle already thinks it's at the bottom of the screen and won't move any lower. I have to move significantly up in order to be able to move down to the bottom. The game seems to run well (I just run it some minutes for testing, will have a deeper look at it later) but I've encountered the same intermittent issue: sometimes the paddle don't reach the bottom of the screen, using some basic HP mouse (so I don't think it's hardware specific).
This is using a Roccat Kone XTD, polling at 1000Hz, and running at 1000dpi.
Edit: forgot to thank the dev' for the keys, that's a very nice move! :)

That's cool that someone (HexDSL) mentioned Refunct! It's a very short but pleasant game (and a cheap one)! :)

Bought Deus Ex yesterday on Feral's store, the game is cheaper on Steam (16.50€ vs 24.50€) but that will be more penguin love for Feral (Tyranny will need to wait again). :)
